I have a strange feeling that I will be running around looking for all of the things that I thought I knew RIGHT where they were... LOL- thats typical Amy I am so excited for you !! oh, & Verandah man - I SO know what you're saying, I roll my eyes at him all the time!! Oh, and I just bought my BF a digital camera & I can't wait to come home & put a picture with my posts like you & so many others do, I don't always look at the names but I always notice the pictures, even my bf does from glancing over at the computer... he actually knows who you are & when I am reading something & he sees your picture he says-- "thats the verandah dude right??" HAHAHA

Curiously, which airline are you flying & which airport? Thanks!

We're flying on Southwest out of Islip. We live in Sayville so, it takes about 5 minutes for us to get there. We have flown Jet Blue from JFK -- loved the airline and they had a cheaper fare than SW at the time. I'm not a big fan of SW, but they seem to be making improvements.

NYmom, we are in Bay Shore..... SOOO Close!! & My bf & I have been looking at condos in the Saville area! what a small world!! I love jet blue & their terminal at JFK so we are flying JB again, but the convinience of Islip is starting to weigh on my concience!! Have a great time!!

Princess--with 3 kids I HAVE To be organized! I have packing for the 5 of us down to a science since we usually spend at least 1 week a year at Disneyland. I have everything organized WAY before we leave and the packing lists and all *though I highly doubt I'd need it* but surfing the boards is the ONLY thing keeping me sane right now! THe anticipation is killing me since we've only done the 4 day cruise and THAT was with the inlaws *eww* so it will be nice to be just our family..and we have some GREAT friends on our sailing from the dismeet board!

I hope your day comes soon for you although I hope my week goes SOOO SLOW! LOL

Hey Dis-Dork, You're in HUGE company!!!!!!!! I think I can speak for most of us when I say we all spend WAY too much time on this board because we are hopeless Dis-Cruise Addicts. Just wanted to share my experience..... a few days before our first cruise (Nov.'03) I was SO EXCITED that my KIDS told me to stop talking about the cruise. My husband turned 40... 2 days before we left. On his birthday I took him to a Sixers game. Well, I was doubled over in pain because my stomache hurt so bad from all of the excitement and butterflies that I was actually PHYSICALLY SICK WITH EXCITEMENT. He was ready to kill me. I couldn't even straighten up. But after the cruise was over he understood my enthusiasm. We've got the next 2 planned already. Have a ball. DON'T GET SICK! :thewave:

Ya'll think you have it bad? I haven't even booked yet and I'm already driving my b/f crazy!! He said some thing the other day about putting a time limit on how long I can "research" the cruise and view Disboards.......Of course, I've been talking about this trip pretty much non-stop for about a year now and he's going to have to hear about it for another one before we can go!! I can't wait!!!

PUTTING A LIMIT ON DISBOARDS?!?!?! Blaspheme!!! I cringe at the very thought!! Though my boyfriend may feel the same!! But do we try & limit the amount of sports they watch?? I think not, plus, it takes a certain amount of research to get the most out of your vacation! At least my bf agrees that our vacations wouldn't be the same with out all of my planning & researching!! Good luck!!

Same place for me 34 Angels...I'm in the 'saving for any kind of deposit stage'--cannot wait until I can put a countdown clock.

Hubby is working on his master's thesis--now we can work side by side after the kiddies go to bed--he on his thesis and me on the dis-boards. He always wanted me to be more interested in computers....

I know! How can you limit what gives me my fix?! As for limiting the sports, he lucked out pretty good 'cause I LOVE watching football, but seeing as it's basketball season.....Well, let me just say this, I'm on Disboards and he's watching the Houston game and he hasn't once said "Baby, what are you doing? Are you going to be on that all night?" and the game doesn't end until 930 tonight!!
