Hoop Dee Doo

No other benefit - just being seated closer.

We like it and feel it's worth it. But have also sat in Tier 2 and enjoyed the show just as much.

This, exactly. We've done Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 2 was fine (we were in the last row of tables in the dead center, just in front of the double doors). The view was great, we just didn't feel quite as much a part of "everything" as we normally do in Tier 1.

The difference in price is only about $5/ticket between tier 1 and tier 2, so with such a minimal cost to upgrade, we always choose tier 1 when available.

Last year we were waffling between Tier 1 and Tier 2. Can honestly say I'll save the money and go Tier 2 next time, there's truly not a bad seat in the house and I can spend that $$ in so many other places LOL. Absolutely best value dinner we had on our trip!!!

Agreed.
We went Tier 1 and there wasn’t significant difference. As soon as we walked in the hall, I thought Hmmmmm if I ever book this again, I’ll book Tier 2

We have always bought Tier 1 & been seated front & center, which we liked. Once we were right by the stage, & an actor purposefully fell down with his derriere sticking out as part of the show. It was near my mother, who was celebrating her birthday, snd he said, "Happy birthday, lady."

We are getting th deluxe dining plan and planning on seeing the show. I've read that the DDDP just gets your tier 2, can you pay extra for 1?

Tier 1 of course, you will likely be included in the show at some point. I know we were, so fun!

We ended up with a table right by the stage. That (combined with the fact that DD is quite adorable) got DD a part in the final stage show. DH got heckled by some of the performers, too. It's certainly not a guaratee of Tier 1 seating, but if you know you DON'T want to be dragged into the perfomance, I'd stay away from the pricier tickets.

I don't agree. IF you objectively look at the total number of Tier 1 seats and then objectively look at the number of folks included it the show, I believe it is more accurate to not set unrealistic expectations and say it is surely possible, not likely that you will be included in the show. That said, the performers also circulate into Tier 2 and even upstairs at Tier 3 and interact with guests.

Agreed. I've seen it three times and they obviously look for specific criteria for the show participants: a small boy; a very pretty and young woman; a tall, strapping man. It doesn't matter where you sit- I think they probably look the audience over before or during the show, and already have an idea of who they'll pick before they ask for volunteers. It isn't random or based on where you're sitting.

Ah maybe you are right. I assumed it was our location based on our experiences.
