I made reservations for HDR for the family. Couple of ?s:

I have to pick up paper tickets before hand, is this right? Do I do this at Pioneer Hall or when we check into our resort at the beginning of our stay?

I booked a Category 2, how loud will it be for my toddler (2 yo) - although I'm sure he'll love it - originally booked Category 1 but saw I could use our DDP with Cat 2 or 3 plus thought it might be too lively in the middle of it all.

Lastly, how long does it take to get there from the boat at the entrance of Magic Kingdom?

Thank you!

You can ask the concierge at your hotel to print them for you. You do not have to make a special trip to Pioneer Hall.

I don't think you're going to have any major difference in noise in one category vs. another. Since they use an amplified sound system, you hear everything everywhere. The majority of the show takes place on stage, and I don't think the crowd interactions will be overwhelming.

I cannot answer the transport question as I have never gone direct from MK to Ft. Wilderness.

You get the paper tickets at the booth outside the show right before the show. Have done this twice & its the easiest way- no papers to lose.

It is a very lively show but never painfully loud in any way. That said, if you want peace & quiet, you booked the wrong show (but I'm sure you know that).

The boat ride itself takes about 20 minutes, but you might have to wait another 20 -30 minutes for the boat to arrive. Always allow extra transportation time at WDW, just to be on the safe side.
