Does anyone have advice on what would be a better time slot to go? 5:00 or 7:15 show? We would like to make a reservation on Nov 22 and I know on this date, it will be getting very crowded in the parks due to being so close to Thanksgiving. Would it make more sense to leave the parks early and go to the 5:00 show or stay in the parks till later and do the 7:15 show? Also, does anyone know when we are able to make reservations for the Hoop Dee Doo? I tried this morning, since it is my 180 days, and no luck either online or through the phone line. One last question....is Hoop Dee Doo worth the money? My children's ages will be 7, 10, and 12. Thanks for any information and opinions!

I haven't been but I have asked a similar question and all the responses I got back were a resounding YES!! I think there is something that all ages can get. It is a quirky show with audience participation but I guess we'll never know if we don't go ;) We will be going to the 5:00p show but my children are younger than yours (DS4 and DS1) so we try and stick to eating as close to regular times as possible. If our kids would wait we probably would have gone to the 7:15p.

The 7:15pm show is a great time to go, still allows for some park time at MK if there are EMH, and to get back to the resort at a reasonable hour if there isn't so my kids can swim before bed. My kids 10 & 13 love the show. The food is also very good, especially the fried chicken. The adults can also get beer and wine (included in price) if they want. This is a "must do" show for us now every time we go according to my wife lol. Much better than the Aloha show and the Backyard BBQ. If your on the DDP it is two TS tickets but when we arrive at Disney it is usually late so we just use the TS ticket from the arrival day, eat with the QS meal that night and then double up the TS to pay for the show later in the week. Works out pretty good for us and the view from the Tier 3 is up on the balcony on either side close to the stage and actuall better than the Tier 2 imo, which is way in the back on the floor and balcony. The actors even come up to the balcony and interact with the crowd which is pretty cool. We once paid OOP for the show and sat dead center in the front row and that was awesome too! The actors don't have too much turnover either so for us it is like we know them now lol. Definately can't go wrong with this show, one of the best values at Disney imo. God luck!! :thumbsup2
