Hoop Dee Doo Transportation

Anyone out there an expert on how to get your family to and from the Hoop Dee Doo? We are staying at BWV and are booked for the 5:00 p.m. show. Do the resorts have buses that take you to the show or do I have to get there by going somewhere else first? How do I get "home" from there after the show???

My advice to you would be to go to the Hoop De Doo from the Magic
Kingdom. If you at the Magic Kingdom at 4pm, go to the resort boat
dock that goes to Fort Wilderness. The marina is very close to Pioneer
Hall, but I always give myself plenty of time when I deal with Disney
transportation.

There will be busses that will take you back to your resort.
Just follow the crowds.

Yes. We've always taken the boat from MK. We've found that to be the easiest.

When you exit the HDDR, a bus driver will ask what resort you're going to and they will direct you to which bus you should board.

If you have a car, I would drive. You will need to take a bus to get from the parking lot to the Hoop but it is better than taking a bus and then a boat IMO.

We've driven and we've taken the bus-to-magic-kingdom then ferry-to-fort-wilderness route (it's the second stop). We totally prefer the bus/ferry
scenic route. As an added benefit, if you go to the 9:30 HDD and Wishes is at 9:00 pm, you'll get fireworks for no extra charge.

When you leave HDD, you have to take a bus to your resort or to the parking lot where your car is located.

I say with recent gas prices, let Disney shuttle you around!

Since you are going to the 5o show, whether or not there are busses afterwards will depend on MK.

If MK is still open, you will have to take the boat back to MK and then take the BWV bus back. If MK is closed, there SHOULD be busses at the Settlement bus stop at FW to take you back.
