We are staying off site. Any advice on efficient travel to see Hoop Dee Doo Revue? Traveling with kids and seniors. Have lots of time so fun and relaxation are more important that FAST although I don't want to take extra steps to get there.

I would just drive on property, follow the signs overhead directing you to Fort Wilderness and when you get to the Guard Station the parking is just beyond that. They have an internal bus system there is a stop located there in the parking lot. There is a Disney Bus that will take you to the Settelment which is the location of HDDR. My family loved this show and we also had ages 14-76. It was equally loved by everyone. We were super lucky and got a stageside table. What a hoot. DS still tallks about seeing the lady's bloomers. :rotfl: Enjoy!

I know you said efficient, but let me just give an alternative. If it is a day that the MK is open late, you can just leave your car in the MK parking lot and take the monorail to the MK, and then the boat to Fort Wilderness. (The bus stop is near the boat lanuch.)

I think this is the most pleasant way to go, and the boat lets you off very near Pioneer Hall. I love this, because I just live to avoid buses, and the boat ride is very nice.

Just don't do it if you'll be leaving Fort Wilderness after the MK is closed, because then the boats will have stopped running and you'll have to take a bus back to the TTC and then the MK -- not fun or effecient in the least!!!!

This is what we did in Aug. for our 7:15 show: from the Magic Kingdom we took the Fort Wilderness Boat to the campground. Using this option you are dropped off at the boat dock right next to Pioneer Hall. Have a Great time this is so much fun we always sit in the balcony DS9 now still loves it every time.

How offen do the boats run? How long is the trip from MK to Pioneer Hall?

Just planning in advance for HDDR.

They run continuously -- which means they just make the loop from the MK to WL to FW and back over and over. (sometimes with more boats than one running) I think the most you'd wait would be 20 minutes. The ride is probably 20 minutes or so, too.

Thanks Miss Inga

Can I assume at MK, the Boat docks are all at one location just look for the Fort Wilderness boat?

Yes! It's easy! Right next to the boat launch for the TTC. And it lets you off a pleasant walk down a path to Pioneer Hall.

i agree. the boat ride is really pleasant. you also can park at the wilderness lodge, and follow the hiking trail to pioneer hall. we've done this a couple of times in the past; and, it's a beautiful, easy walk. it might be a mile walk. i can't remember. i think we allowed 1/2 hour, and you can ride the coach back to the wilderness lodge.
