We are interested in going to the HDDR on the DDP. But with the plan you can only go to the earlier shows in Teir 2 and 3 seating.

What is everyones experiences with theses seats. Can small kids see? Our kids are 4,5,7 so they are short. Looking at the floor plan it seems like clearly tier 1 is the best but it seems like teir 3 would give a good view (better than 2)

HELP?

I've sat in all three tiers, and honestly I liked tier 3 best. Everyone gets a front-row view at the railing of the balcony. You can see the show well, and the main flow can get rather crowded. I would pick 3 over 2 any day.

We sat in Tier 3 (before it was Tier 3) 3 years ago when DD was 4. We were up on the right hand side of the stage, and we thought the seats were great! DD4 loved the show and was able to see very well through the railings. We were able to see everything.

So in Tier 3 there is only one row of tables next to the railing but there is no room for the kids to get up and dance? I was thinking the kids may like Tier 3 because they could see but my kids love to dance so they would be bummed of they had to stay seated.

Any experiences with this?

If I'm remembering correctly the table isn't pushed right up against the railing.. some of our group sat back there and I'm sure there would be room for little ones to dance. Now that I think about it, there would probably be more room to dance up there because the main floor can turn into a zoo with the waitstaff all over.

We were seated in tier 2 last year and had great seats! Our DS, 4 at the time, had no trouble seeing anything. Our seats were located on the very left side, facing the stage.

We can't wait to go back for our next trip!

we sat up on the second floor once with a almost 3 year old and did not have a good time at all. We could not really move and the table was so close to other that I felt bad if my daughter was being her age. I would never sit there again . We left early because of this we have tier 1 for the show this time and I am on dining but i payed for this.

I have sat in all three tiers. Each has its good points and bad points. The bottom line is "you" make the experience, not the placement of your seat. A little one will be able to see from all tiers. Just "sit" back and enjoy... (Dancing in your seat is probably better than on the floor for this show). Enjoy.

WOW so many different opinions about tier 3 seats. Some say kids would not be able to get up - others love tier 3 better than 2.

Anyone insite?

glad to hear this:thumbsup2it was the conclusions i came to when trying to figure out where to book our 1st visit to HDD.

funny, when booking it 90 days out, CM kept asking me "...are you sure you don't want to book tier #2..."

another reason i picked tier 3 is that while on DP, we probably will just pay OOP for this one and use DP credits on another TS

We loved the late seating and the Tier 1 seats. I liked it most because the characters were right beside us most of the time.

From my vantage point, it looked like there really wasn't a bad place - they did a good job with seating and with interaction with the crowd.
