Hoop Dee Doo ticket question

We booked the Hoop Dee Doo almost 2yrs ago and have paid in full. Do we pick up the tickets at our resort when we arrive, or do I have to go to the Hoop Dee Doo ticket booth directly?

Also, how early should we plan to get to the hoop dee doo the night of the show. TIA!

You should be able to pick up tickets at your resort - just doublecheck when you check-in about that.

Getting there about 30 minutes early is plenty early =)

I'd say no *more* than 30 minutes, since the "5:30" show time means that's when they open the doors. And since tables are assigned in advance, there's no reason to stand in the lines that inevitably build up.

If you're driving your own car, allow about 15 minutes from when you park at the front of Ft. Wilderness to get to Pioneer Hall. This includes a few minutes waiting for the bus, plus a few minutes driving time. If you're catching a boat from Magic Kingdom or Wilderness Lodge, you might want to allow 20-30 minutes, including both waiting and travel time.

And yes, I can confirm that you can pick up your tickets when you check in to your resort.

Also, and FYI - since you booked ages ago, chances are that you're going to be seated up close to the front. The show is great fun, and the food tastes pretty good, too. Be sure to save some room for dessert!!!

I was always told that tables were assigned by the date you made your PS so I did not wxpect much when I made a PS for DW and me in March for the end of May. Imagine my surprise when they seated us dead center right at the stage.

Sounds like you were at a table for two? That's also part of the equation. There aren't a lot of groups of two, I suspect. For our visit last month, we booked a table for two just about three weeks out, and we were up at the front, right behind the musicians.
