I have reservations for hoop on aug 17th at 5pm. I had the choice between the 5 or 7 seating. Dad & Mom with girls 8 & 9 yrs.

1. Is there one seating that would be more advantageous over the other for any reason?

2. Since we are not staying on property and are purchasing only a 2 day park ticket, I guess we need to go to MK on this day, am I right? Is the Hoop show near MK? I know it is fort wilderness but is this part of the park or how should I look at this?

I hope my question is clear but as you can see I am a lot confused on this...Thanks Kim:crazy:

We are going for our first time this December. They have 3 showings a night from what I can tell. The HDD is located at Ft. Wilderness resort. This resort is part of the MK resorts. You don't really have to go to MK that day unless you truly want to, but if you are at another park, just take the bus from that resort to Ft. Wilderness and when you want to go back, take the bus from Ft. Wilderness to DTD. If you are driving, drive up to FT. Wilderness. IT will be fun no matter what.

You don't need to go to any parks in order to go. It is at the Fort Wilderness resort, and you can just go there for the hoop de doo. We did it at 7:00 but I don't think there is much difference in times.

Good luck, you will have fun.

There is no advantage in one time over the other in and of itself but the time you should go may depend on park closing and not wanting to leave the park until then. If you are going to be at the MK and the park closes at 7, I would think that you wouldn't want to leave at 4 to get to the 5 o'clock Hoop Dee Doo

You do not need any park admission to go to Hoop Dee Doo. The location of the dinner show is very separate from the Magic Kingdom. How you get there will depend on where you are coming from. From the MK - take a boat. From another Disney resort - take a bus. From off property - drive. If you're coming from MK, allow an hour to get there (which includes getting to and waiting for a boat). Same for taking a bus - you may have to wait 20 min of for a bus and that bus may make several stops.
