I just got off the phone. Made my hddr ressies for Jan. (Finally). The hold up was, they are charging in teirs now. Main floor except the very last row is $58.99 tx and gratuity included. Last row on the floor and balcony directly across from the stage is $54.99. I didn't ask for the price of the balcony sides, but I would assume it is $50.99 or up as that is around what last years price was. I'm just glad I don't have to call every day now. :bounce:

Thank you for the info. I preferred the old, "if you call first, you get a better seat option", but I am a planner so that works well for me. However, it does seem more fair for people who decide later in the ADR process that they want HDDR--maybe now they'll have a better chance of getting the seating they want. I have a feeling though that it works out better for Disney in the end, seems like most people will want the better table location who book early and now Disney can just charge you more for it :confused3

I called Friday, August 4, for the 9:30 show the following night.
I was expecting a pretty bad table. Although I figured there would be no bad seat in the house. (Which I think is true.)
We had a table for two off to the side, very near the stage. It was a busy corner. But not so busy we even noticed anything but the what was going on in the show.
So I found even a last minute res doesn't mean a bad viewing seat, for anyone is is concerned if they don't book way ahead their seats will be bad. :wave2:

I have sat near the back third once when they cancelled our ressie instead on someone elses, and I found the noise from tables between us and the stage to be very loud and distracting, I wouldn't want to have that seating again. Upstairs, I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, there are chairs only on the rail side of the table, probably so the servers can get through and fire rules, but anyway, the guests had to turn in their chares to watch the show. Also, the new seating prices tie handicapped people into the 2 more expensive seating catagories because there is no way to get wheelchairs upstairs. Just my opinion. Still love the show.

Thanks for the heads up- I just got my tickets
