sorry if this has been discussed already, I have been AWOL for a while...

Trying to make HDD ressies for Nov or Dec 2011, and it is not showing up as reservable after October 16th. I called ADRs and was initally told it was sold out for the 3 dates I wanted (TG week so I was not overly surprised) but then I called on Day 190 for a December date, and then was told it was not bookable for anyone, and ADR rep (Holly-Jo) implied it was to be refurbished and to keep checking!

Any more info, as you are always the best source :thumbsup2

So the Spirit of ALoha Show is not bookable after Oct 15 too so maybe its a Dinner show thing.

I saw this posted somewhere.....

In response to guest feedback, both shows will be combined and play each night in each location starting this fall.

Oh no - I hope this isn't true. Doesn't make much sense to me. How can you combine a luau theme show and a western theme show?
I will be there the end of Oct and was hoping to make a ressie for hoop de doo - not sure now. I might call and see what they say if I try to make a ressie.....

Just last week my TA...DU... was able to make me a res at HDDR for 10/28. I have a conf # and can see it on disney's website as well.

This is the message posted on the ADRs website today
"Sorry, we are temporarily unable to make online reservations for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for dates between October 17 and November 11, 2011. Please try again later or call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 for reservations for these dates. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call."

Sounds like a website problem then....since you can still call and make a res.

I'll bet Six Bits looks fabulous wearing a grass skirt!

And instead of the Strawberry Shortcake dance at the end, they will come out with flaming volcanos...

Aloh-a y'all!!!:rotfl2:

I attempted to make a ressie for 12/7 today. We get there on 11/30/11. Online it would not let me. I then called and the very nice lady told me it was not available at this time. She said they have not released the show times. She had no other information. She just suggested checking back frequently.

I heard from a good source that it is being refurbished and that it will actually be in a differant area in the campground. Lots will be happening soon. I will miss it being where it was though.

No you can't. I called Disney Dining 2x already to try and book HDDR for 11/29 and was told the same thing each time. "Not taking reservations, check back again."

Huh. Well I am booked and paid in full for Fri Oct 28 7:15 HDDR. And my conf # shows up on disney's website under my reservations. I booked it through DU a week or so before memorial weekend.

1) The shows can be blended.
2) I can see Hawaiian Fried Chicken as a blend.
3) But, Southern Fried Polynesian Fried Rice blend?

@vossjemi - what is DU? I called ADRs before Memorial Day, and have checked on line almost daily but still nothing bookable after mid-October.

IGNORE ME - DU = Dreams Unlimited. Sorry. D'oh!

So I called back to see about making a ressie on 12/8/2011. I was told they have an "alert" out right now. They are not taking any reservations at this time for Nov. 13th or after. She told me i could call back on June 28th and i should be able to make one at that time.

Just an update! She did say she could take one for the other shows if i wanted.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but I have been reading that they are not taking reservations for after Oct 16. We we made our ADRs in April and have a confirmation number for Oct 18. Are the reservations that have already been made still good. I know this seems silly to ask but this is our frst trip and we are all really looking forward to this show. I have been nervous about them possibly refurbing this and doing away with reservations within this time frame.

Thanks in advance for any response.
