Hoop Dee Doo questions

We just booked Hoop Dee Doo because I thought my 9 year old DS would like it after sitting through 2 princess meals for his sister. Two questions-

1. Leaving POR, how much time do I need to give it for travel time? We are booked for the 6:15 show.

2. I thought I saw somewhere that they have additional children's menu items available for pickier eaters. Does anyone know if that's still the case and what they are? My 4 year old daughter can be picky.

Thanks!

I would allow an hour and a half for travel time though it should take a bit less than that. The most enjoyable path imo is take a bus to magic kingdom then the boat to fort wilderness. the boat ride is really pretty and you will get a totally different view. There is tons of stuff to do if you arrive early including a play ground, petting zoo, a neat little shop, beach, and a small arcade. if you are going during the winter bring a coat or sweater the boat can be significantly cooler than land.

1. I would give yourself 90 minutes to bus to MK and boat to Ft. Wilderness. It should give you plenty of time to check in and do your Photopass photo before your meal.

2. I know they have macaroni and cheese. I *believe* they also have PB&J and hot dogs. Not sure if there are chicken nuggets since fried chicken comes with the meal.

Thank you both! It's supposed to be my Epcot day so maybe I will just stretch that out longer and leave from there, monorail to MK and boat over. Thank you for the help!

If you're at Epcot, it's just as easy to take the bus to Ft. Wilderness and then the internal bus back to Pioneer Hall.

We didn't get anything different for the kids when we went but my wife mentioned to the server that she doesn't eat pork (was worried if there was bacon in the beans in addition to the ribs) and he brought out a plate with salmon and a few other types of vegetables (photo below) as other options (she said it was very good)

We just ate there a few days ago and my 6 and 8 year old shared a big bowl of buttered bow tie noodles. Our server offered different sauces for the pasta but they just wanted butter. They don't eat fried chicken or ribs.
