Hoop Dee Doo or Luau?

Really would like people's thoughts on which dinner show, HDD or Poly Luau? I have a 4/5 year old. Heard that waiting for transpo from Hoop Dee Doo can be frustrating.

Which show do you think kids of this age would like better?

Transportation issue not that big a deal at Hoop Dee Doo. That shouldn't deter you from choosing it over luau...there is no comparison....HDD much, much better.

Done both many times. If the issue is kids, then HDD is your best choice. Transportation is a little hectic, but nothing that can't be handled as long as you allow enough time. Took our grandson to the Luau when he was 6 and he was not impressed (except with the guys and the fire). He hated the food, but luckily they brought out some mac and cheese for him. Very expensive mac and cheese I think. HDD is probably your best bet, but be warned, whenever we do HDD it is always freezing in there, so take a jacket. I watched the servers wrap table clothes around kids.

Personally I really enjoyed both, but I think HDD is better for kids that age. Plus if you have picky eaters in your group, go with HDD. The transportation to HDD wasn't bad, we drove to the parking lot and caught the bus to HDD, you can't park near the hall itself. I think we waited about 10 min for the bus.
