We'l be staying at FW in January, and are deciding whether or not to to to Hoop Dee Doo; My brother goes every year with his kids and they love it, but will two adults with no kids be entertained? Any input would be appreciated! :confused3

We love the show and the food is great, with or without our DS we would go.

DH and I went last December. We don't have kids, but we very much enjoyed it. In fact, we are taking both sets of our parents in September.:goodvibes

Do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all love it.

Anybody care to critique the food? How is the service? :earsboy:

My husband and I do not have kids and love it! The food is good, nothing spectacular, but it is good, same with the service. It really is a cute show, we love it!

The food isn't the main attraction here. Don't expect to be blown away by the food - its certainly acceptable, just not great. Service is quick and cheerful.

The food is good, fried chicken, bbq ribs, salad, corn on the cob, bread and strawberry shortcake. Of course the all you care to drink beer and sangria are good too:thumbsup2

It is a great show. I highly recommend it for people with or without kids.

The service is always quick and the servers go from average to outstanding.

I used to love the food, but the last 3 times I went it pretty much sucked. Greasy chicken is fine for me, but I don't like the burnt ribs. The corn turned into frozen corn-on-the-cob and has now disappeared - no corn. The beans are okay and the salad is still good.

DH and I have been three times in the last four years! We love it but decided to take a year off and will go back in 2008! The show is cute and corny! We love the salad, cornbread, and chicken!!

You have to go just once. The food's not bad and the show is very entertaining. You'll have a great time.

Personally I think that the park shows are much better. Hoop Dee Doo is beyond the corn factor. Even my kids were not impressed (we preferred the show at the Poly). I would rather spend the money at a nice disney restaurant like the California Grill.

Hoop Dee Doo-Definitely. This is a must do for our family and it is not at DS request. This is DH favorite night of the trip each year. We are thinking about trying the Spirit of Aloha next time if I can get DH to give up the Hoop Dee Doo:rotfl: .

Thanks for all your input! We are booked at hoop dee doo category 2 (best you can get with the ddp), and on a whim we booked a dinner at Spirit of Aloha as well; not expecting as much from that one but it will be nice to see the polynesian, etc... :yay:
