Just decided to book Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue but they only had cat 3. We usually like to be close to the action, but do not mind being far if the view is still good. Should I cancel and wait until our next trip?

It would be our first time at this show.

Thanks.

We've been to the Hoop Dee Doo twice, once years ago we sat front and center. This past Nov over Thanksgiving, we booked very last minute. I think it was on Wed for the Sat show. I didn't know where our seats were as the CM in the CL lounge booked it for us. Well, we were upstairs in Cat 3.

I have to say, at first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. You sit at long tables with swivel chairs. Your back is to the show to eat, then you swivel around to watch the show. Our table was at the end of the hallway, just over the stage.

Turns out is was perfect. We had the best view of the whole show. By the tables being long, we actually had more room on the table. There was plenty of room for a highchair for my DS1.

The theater is not too large, it feels rather intimate overall. I would rather sit upstairs in Cat 3 than in the far back on the main floor. From upstairs you can see all the action (the actors run around the place a lot)

The only thing that was annoying is the bathroom is outside next door to the theater! (But that has nothing to do with your seats!:) )

Opps. I was in Category 2 and not Cat 3.

Here is the view from a Category TWO table:

Great photo!

Okay looking at the photo, I sat on the right were that lady in white is sitting, towards the front. We were the third table from the end.

Thanks great photo. I would love to seat in between the two fairies, ohhh that’s not the restaurant. That is your signature.:cool1:

Well it looks like any table would be a good table.:thumbsup2

Thanks.

Is Cat 2 upstairs center and downstairs in the back?

So Cat 3 is upstairs both sides?

I don't see how there's a bad seat in the house. Plus the food was actually really good. Yes, that surprised me!

Go and have fun! My DS4 is still singing "hoop dee doo, hoop dee doo":rolleyes1

I was in cat 3 seating this year, and thought the seats were great for watching the show, just be careful that you are not seated next to one of those large poles next to the railing, it makes it very hard to see.
We had a couple that sat next to us, and they had a hard time seeing
the show, and the left before the show ended

We sat in Cat. 3 last time we visited Hoop Dee Doo and thought they were pretty good seats. We could see the performers no matter where they were on the stage or the floor, and we didn't feel crowded with other tables because it was just a long line of tables against the rail. We enjoyed it!
