Hoop-Dee-Doo level 3

How is the view for level three for Hoop-dee-doo? That is all that is available for the 6:15pm slot and I wasn't sure if I wanted the 4pm slot to get better seats. Thanks in advance.

We LOVED our Category 3 seats and I would never do anything else!

View great, service great as much was right there, felt we were part of it without in the middle of it and the show came up to us a few times, even to play washboards at one point!

There are no bad views at HDDR! We do prefer to be on the main floor, but would gladly take any category if that was all we could get for the 6:15 show. We love the 2nd show... not too early and not too late for us for dinner. The actors do go up on the balcony, so every section is apart of the action in some way.

the one thing to note is that in the balcony your back is to the show while you are eating so you can't eat and watch at the same time. I saw that mentioned in a review once. if that doesn't bug you it is not a big deal but wouldn't want you to go and have it be unexpected.

Hi! I don't mean to highjack the thread, but this is the most recent HDDR thread and I had a couple quick questions. I appreciate anyone's feedback!

1. I went to HDDR several years ago while staying at Fort Wilderness with a golf cart. It was awesome. How much of a pain is it to get to the show from off-site? I'm envisioning a night of waiting on buses, which I really don't enjoy.
2. Any thoughts if La Nouba would be a better choice from off-site? We're staying in the Sea World area. I know they are two very different experiences, but curious on your thoughts. My kids are 9 and 12. I'm pretty sure they would like both shows, but maybe it's better to end up at Disney Springs after the show???

we did HDDR for the first time last year and sat in category 3. I also really liked the view, but I wouldn't book it again because of the point @Lisa F raises. The chairs swivel--you turn to look over the railing to watch the show, and back around 180 degrees to eat. We found there simply wasn't enough time to eat (especially the main course and dessert). Even though it's AYCTE, we found ourselves hungry not long after the show. I would go to HDDR again, but I would pay the extra cost for a table on the main level where I could eat while the show's running

Is there any chance it can cap off a day at the MK? It is a direct boat ride from there. Otherwise I think you'd drive to Ft. Wilderness and take the internal bus. I think I did that when we did it like 15 years ago and it was fine, the internal buses run fairly frequently and I seem to remember they had them queued up to deal with the crowds when everyone left at once. It has been years though so please someone correct me if I am wrong.

I went ahead and booked the 4pm for this reason. I don't want to get myself dizzy trying to eat and see the show. LOL

I was there in 2014, and was all the way at the end on the second floor, and could see the show fine.

This is pretty much the reason we always book category 1 or 2. We think the views are fine from up there, but eating and being able to enjoy everything that is going on without having to turn around, is something we wouldn't have to worry about on the main floor. We just booked category 1 for our Sept trip. We did cat 1 in 2014 and we were right at the stage. Loved it!

We were just there last Weds and I don't believe there are any bad seats.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we do! I was hooked after my first time there. The food is great, and go hungry! It is so much food. Not sure about the Moscato.

We LOVE HDDR... Our first time was Cat3, and I did find the swiveling annoying, although it is not a bad view. Our 2nd time we were Cat1 (ended up with the same waiter), and actually my daughter had to move her chair b/c they came out to do a couple songs right next to our table, so we were VERY close to the action.

Do they happen to have Moscato?

1) You can get it if you pay for it.
2) It is not included as All-You-Can-Drink.
3) It would be the same as ordering a cocktail from the bar.
