We Have reservations for The Hoop Dee Doo and I was just wondering what the dress code is. Is it somewhat casual or should I pack dress clothes. Thanks for your help!!

Nothing like waiting until the last minute......we leave tomorrow and I am just getting started packing for my Dis Family of 5!!

It's beyond casual! Make sure to wear something that you don't mind eating ribs in, are play a washboard in!

Theme park cloths, jeans etc are totally fine:)

You're the greatest!!! Thanks for your help!!

I don't have to iron, this is going to be a great vacation :hyper:

If you are going to the show and wish for amyone in your group to be a part of the show let me suggest to you that you 'dress them the part' cowboy hat, bandana, western shirt, etc. and then have your camara ready! It is a great show!!! DS was in the show as the "hero" and lves to brag about it!

We have been several times and it has always been very cool in the show. I always bring a sweater even in the summer!

HDDR is also one of the places where the photog is available to take your family portrait if you are interested... so, you may want to wear "picture perfect" clothes (which for my geeky family means matching outfits)... otherwise, park casual or "good eatin' clothes" are the order of the day!

I have the picture from our HDDR from back in 1999 sitting right here on my desk at work...

I'm wearing jeans, a v-neck shirt, and a zip up hoodie sweater (which is quite cute...I wonder what happened to it)

DH is wearing jeans, a tee shirt, and a plaid cotton shirt unbuttoned/untucked.

we were sitting right down front and DH was choosen to be the Indian in the show at the end.

Thank you everybody for all of your help and suggestions for the HDDR. I'm almost done packing and tomorrow we leave right after I get home from work. We are driving from New Jersey.

OK, now I am off to finish packing and get a good nights rest.

Bye everybody!:wave2:

Ditto on the jacket advice! It is often extremely chilly! Have a great time!

I was also going to suggest bringing a sweater or a jacket. I froze - the only downer for me during the entire show. We really enjoyed it and my husband said it was the most fun he had that week.

Definately casual.:) Don't forget to smile when you get your pic taken before the show.:)
