Hoop Dee Doo - Amex discount?

I read in one of my many guide books from the library that American Express cardholders receive 10% off at the Hoop Dee Doo. When I called to book, the reservationist had not heard of it, but suggested I ask when I get there. Has anyone used this discount or know of it's definite existance?

Hi, Karen. I too tried to make use of a discount for the Hoop de Doo, but it is only available for the last show at 9:30 PM. I have the American Express, Annual Pass, and Disney Dining experience cards and the only discount was for the last show for any of them!

The promotional relationship between Walt Disney World and American Express ended at the end 0f 2002. Disney now has a promotional relationship with Visa (including a Disney-branded Visa through Bank One).

There are no Visa discounts for the Hoop Dee Doo dinner show.

Our DU TA confirmed that there is no AE discount available for Hoop De Doo. Too bad!
