Do you think that is too late for a family with kids to eat? We are going to be at Epcot that day and eat at Tepanyki for lunch around 1:00, would 9:30 be way to late to eat dinner, My kids are 6, 9, and 11. Plus we might be taking our 2 year old. Any opinons,,, I have 7:15 right now, but didn't want to leave Epcot so soon.

I know you don't want to leave Epcot early, but I think the 7:15 show/dinner would work much better with the kids - especially the younger ones. If you go to the 9:15 show, the kids will probably be getting tired and irritable, and wouldn't enjoy the show (and then you wouldn't either!).

JMHO. :)

I'd recommend doing HDD early on a non-park day with kids that age. We did the first show at 5pm which gave us plenty of time to enjoy Fort Wilderness afterwards. There's a petting zoo, peacocks, horse barn, playground etc.

We do not have a non park day. We have things planned all weekend, and the Hoop Dee Doo for our last night. We like to do it all and we only have a short time to do it in. Thanks for the replys!!! My dh thinks we should keep the 7:15.:)

My dh and I had this same talk. We are going with three little ones 8, 6 an 2. I was thinking of going to the 9:30 on our first day especially since I can get 20% off. We decided to go with the 7:15 because they are little and would be tired and not get much sleep for the next day .. our first full day in the park.
