we love HDDR!! it's a must-dee-do for us! the kids would sacrifice nearly any other disney event/ride/park/etc to go to HDDR!

transport after the show was a breeze... we walked out, there were bus drivers directing guests to different buses for different resorts... each bus went to two or three resorts in the same area... it was much easier than i expected!

as far as being a "time hog" it is and it isn't... we schedule ours for mid-way thru our trip when we've had too many late nights and early mornings and need a down day... a water park day is a perfect HDDR day... actually *any* day is a perfect HDDR DAY!

So glad to hear all the positive reviews. We are going on October 3rd for the 5pm showing. We have never been and we are going with another family, all the boys will be 7, 5, two boys will be 3 and one will be 2 and 4 adults. We are using 2 table credits per person to go. Can't wait!

we wouldn't miss it. about 3 years ago they picked my dh for davy crocketts angel, well he was so funny he came out in a tutu and danced around. he was so funny he danced like a ballerina only not on his toes. it was so funny we have it on video. what a great memory. we had so much fun.

DD was chosen as the can can girl twice...once we were even seated in the balcony - dead center. .... my favorite table, I might add - your view is not obstructed at all....and the dancers do visit the second floor. I made that request for our third time, but didn't get it.....got the floor instead, not nearly as good a view (based on the location of the table).

I did it once and am glad I did but my dh & I have no desire to see it again. It was a cute show with good food and it was a lot of fun but for us, not a repeat show.

You'll be glad you went, I'm sure.

If you go to the 7:15 show which lets out about 9:15 and want to make it a late night you could walk back down to the dock, sit on the beach and watch the electric water Pageant at 9:45.
