Me and my hubbie are trying to decide which one to do, what is your opinon on both of the shows?

I asked this same question a while back and the general answer was HDD. I have never been to the BBQ but would like to try it eventually. We have been to HDD many, many times since the 80's and just love it and never get sick of it! So when I asked if HDD or BYBBQ would be better for my DS's b-day everyone voted for HDD. Although I don't know what the BBQ is like, I do know that you won't be dissappointed w/ HDD! Enjoy!

We love love love the HDDR. Two thumbs way up.

I havent done the BBQ, but I would take into account when your trip is. May and Sept are the mating seasons for mosquitos, so I wouldn't be dining in the woods during those months.

My husband wants to be president of the HDD fan club! Our whole family loves this dining experience! We have been many times, most recently in Dec. and it is always a high point of our trip. Like the previous posters, I have never been to the BBQ, but if you have yet to try either of these, start with the HDD!

I have never been to the HDD but a few years ago our family attended Mickey's BBQ. It was serve yourself food that you ate at picnic tables. They did have a country western band that performed and a large dance floor. My kids had a great time learning the line dances and they were joined by the characters at some point during the evening. (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale) It was fun, but probably not something that we would plan on doing again.

I've been to both and I would choose HDD hands down over the BBQ.

HDD wins over Back yard BBQ BBQ not very good for very little ones Kids are running all over the place while parents who do not seem to care hit the beer and wine I spent most of the night getting run over while I was keeping track of my kids.

HDD you are seated the whole time the show is fun and the food is good.
