We are DS almost 6, DS almost 5, DH and me. We are going during free dining and I just can't decided if we should do Hoop Dee Doo or the other 2. The boys really like Bugs Bunny and other similar silly humor. They are just now starting to get into knock-knock jokes and riddles. The two of them crack each other up with really non-sensical talk. My DH really wanted to go to the Biergarten (and if you all say we should do Hoop Dee Doo, we may still eat lunch at Biergarten). The boys both like Stitch but I don't think they really care about the breakfast with him.

We are staying at the ASMo and do not have our own transportation. If the reservation was for a MK day, would HDDR be hard to get to? We were planning on taking a cab to the Lilo and Stitch breakfast. Thanks for thoughts on this...

I would do the HDDR. My kids love this place. They will really enjoy it.

It is very easy to get to from the Magic Kingdom. When you exit the Magic Kingdom, go over to where the boats to the resorts are. There will be a boat that goes directly to Fort Wilderness campground. It let's you off on their beach and playground area and it is a very short walk to Pioneer Hall. This (the boat from MK) is the best way to get to Pioneer Hall.

We love HDD but you'll get many different opinions. We've never eaten at either of the other restaurants so I can't comment. There's a boat that will take you to the Fort Wilderness Camp Ground once you exit MK. It's a very relaxing ride. When the HDD is over, there are buses that will take you back to your resort. Let us know what you decide!

We are tring the HDDR this year with our 2DD(4&7). I figured since it is the FREE dining, it would be worth it to try it and then make the determination if it was worth it or not. My 2 DD LOVE musicals and singin so I think they will really like it, me and DH might just like it for the unlimited beer/wine and use the Disney transportation after! (I am kidding, or course, before anyone gets upset, we are responsible parents who will defnitely enjoy a few adult beverages while on vacation)
Good luck with your decision.

We just did Ohana breakfast and it was great! Only one of the kids we went with (3) was really into into Stitch, but all the kids loved it! Mickey, Goofy and Pluto were also there. Also, it was pretty fun - a parade with maracas and the characters, very interactive for the kids. I see that you are taking a cab there - we actually (a group of 16), took the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then rode the Monorail to the Polynesian! It was our only excuse to use the Monorail (we stayed at CSR) and was well worht it - what is a trip Disney w/o the Monrail?! Have a great rip

That's a tough one! I'd say do a family vote!

If if was my choice alone, hmmm, having done all 3, I'd pick HDD, because it is a "must do". I'd also pay out of pocket for lunch at Biergarten without a problem. It's very good buffet and fun entertainment.

I think you should go with HDDR all the way. We had so much fun on our last trip and I believe it was worth every penny. The food is nothing to write home about but it's a very fun experience. I think the show is great for children and adults alike. That's my two cents!

I would also recommend HDD. Your sons are a great age for the show and it's silly humor. The food at HDD is really good, and it's a fun show.

I took my son when he was 5 and he thought it was good. I do not think I would do it again though. 2 TS is way too much, a better deal would be the O'hana breakfast and Biergarten. Both were excellent and my son enjoyed them too.

I would do HDDR. We went several years ago with teenage boys. They weren't crazy about it. It was a little hokey for them but I think as small children they would have loved it. The food was DELICIOUS!!. We have also eaten at the Biergarten and hated it--we had never had German food, and never will again.
