The food here is good. The Hoop Dee Do Review is soo much fun. It's the best show and food for the entire trip. The serve you pewter buckets of food to your table. Everything I have eaten there was just fine.

How long does thee show last?

I read somewhere that it takes 2 hours. My questions is how do you get there and how long would you suggest to get there from Pop. We are debating about it on our next trip but not for sure how long it will take us to get there.

The last time we did the Revue we stayed at ASM. Took the bus to MK and rode the boat over to FW. They ask you to arrive early, I believe we left music 1 1/2 hours before our time... Steve

I love HDDR so much I am having my wedding reception there - and yes I am a bit crazy - but I will be hopefully in the front row - (but will take any row they can give me and my 23 guests), chowing down on chicken and ribs in my wedding dress in September...lol

So yeah - my vote is for HDDR.

I would give yourselves a good hour to get there from the Pop. We took the bus to the magic kingdom and then the boat to the show. That is a nice way to go because the boat ride is a lot of fun. It is well worth it! Our son Jack loved it and he was 2!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Hoop de Doo!!!!!!! We go every trip, and our visit in May will be paid for OOP. It is well worth it. In that type of serving environment, I'm always amazed that the chicken and ribs are never dry. I will admit to not being a big fan of the cornbread. It is a little on the sweet side for my tastes. My DD loves the stuff though, so she's plenty happy I generally on have a small taste.

My DS (7) and I went to Hoop De Doo on our last visit and it was by far our favorite meal of the week!! The entertainment is top notch and the food is outstanding!! The show far exceeded our expectations - and our expectations were high!! After all, it IS Disney!!

HDDR is awesome! This may have been the best food of our stay. The fried chicken, cornbread, and strawberry shortcake are delicious!!

Never done T-Rex, but HDDR is my entire 4-generation family's very favorite dining event of all time. Knee-slappin' hilarious, plus good food. WELL worth the price!

Nice to read all the good reviews! This will be our 6th trip and we're finally trying HDDR!
Now my only worry is we'll really love it and want to do it every trip - which is tough, we already have an impossible time fitting in all the dining we want!

Tell me about Hoop-De-Doo. is it worth the money? I would really like to do it, but it is pretty costly. If I do this I won't b eating at T-Rex, so would it be worth it.

Last Spring I took two of my grandchildren whom I ADORE to WDW. It was the first time for them. We had a great week and ate at some great restaurants. The night we went to the Hoop Dee Doo my DGS announce right then and there he wanted to eat there EVERYTIME day. The clomp down the pewter buckets on pewter plates and make a loud noise. It's all you can eat and I have always thought it was the most fun had by all.
Not eating at T-REX won't be a big loss.

We did the Hoop-Dee-Do for the first time this past June and we absolutely loved it!! We're going again in May and I'm pretty sure it has become a must-do for us each trip. I loved all the food and so did my two teenage boys. Can't wait for May!!

My kids told me that they would rather stay in a cheaper resort just to be able to afford going to HDDR. It's almost their favorite part of the whole trip. The cornbread is our family's favorite! I found a recipe to make it at home because we loved it so much. I think we had them bring us more cornbread 4-5 times last trip. lol
