Hoop-de-Doo Reservation - Pay in full?

I will be able to make our reservations soon for our 2014 trip and was interested in making reservations for the Hoop-de-doo dinner show. We have seen this show many times on previous trips and my DH loves going so I guess it has become a tradition while vacationing at WDW. This will be the first time having the dining package with our hotel reservation. When I make our 180 advance reservation, do I have to pay in full for our Hoop-de-doo reservation at that time? Or can I mention that we have the Dining package and they take it off our credits?

If you have the dining plan already as part of your package I believe you can book without paying in full ahead of time. I know how it used to work on the old website. You would check off a box that allowed you to use your dining plan to book and it would just use the credits. You still had to provide a credit card number for a cancellation guarantee though.
I don't know how it works on the new MDE site though, so I will suggest that you call on your reservation day and I am sure the dining cast member will know how to do it.
I didn't get the ddp this time, so I had to pay it all up front.
