Hoop De Doo Question

We are going over Spring Break ... March 20-27. We just called for availability of tickets to Hoop De Doo, and tickets are available to almost all shows. I know that this show tends to be booked very early (you can buy these tickets 2 years in advance!) ... so my question is .... are the seats that are now available really bad seats? Is it worth going to if you don't get your tickets early enough to get the really good seats? This is an expensive show (we have 6 people in our family: me (39) dh(42), my mom (58), ds (14) ds(11) and dd(9). I don't want to spend a bunch of money if the seats will be so bad that we won't enjoy the show! What do you think .... is it too late for us to decide on this show? Will it be worth an evening? We are tentatively planning on the 7:15 show on Wednesday night? Any experience Hoop De Doo'ers out there???!! :)

Thanks for any and all comments and imput!!

We went last year and I only booked it 2 weeks prior to our trip. The show was almost sold out. Our seats were on the second level and they were terrific seats. I don't think there are too many bad seats in the house! Maybe the seats in the back of the first level, but it is pretty small in there. The show spills out into the audience and they come around to the tables at times. Click on these two pics to see a couple of pics I took from our seats. The seats on the second level all are along the rail and you look down on the show. Your table runs parellel with the rail and you turn around on your stool to watch the show. I really liked the show from there. As you can see in the pic with my DD5 playing the washboard, we were the last table seated and the others were empty along the rail. Pic 1 Pic 2

You may want to post this on the Dining board.

In any event, the theater is layed out so that there's really not a bad seat. The performers show up all over the hall, not just on the stage, and the stage is elevated enough that even from the back, you can see just fine. You will be seated around a table, and your seats do not have numbers. Tables of different sizes are located throughout, so there's really no way for you to know where you will be seated prior to showtime.

On a different note, I have a large family and cost is very much an object. We are considering hoop de doo for our splurge this time. What is the best deal anyone has gotten on tickets? I understand the late show is sometimes discounted, is this true, and how much?
thanks
Drew

There is a 20% discount for the 9:30pm show if you pay using an American Express card. At least that's what I remember reading. I'll be finding out in just a couple of weeks!

Amex cards no longer receive discounts. There was a discount when AMEX was the offical card of WDW
