Hoop de doo on DDP

I seen you have to pay for Hoop De Doo with at credit card when you make the ADR. If you are on the dining plan do you still need to give a CC to make ADR?

When we were there last time, I gave them my credit card when I made the ADR with the understanding that we had to pay at that time for the whole thing.

Then when we checked in six months later we were told they just held it with a credit card and we had to pay for it then. I was a bit upset because that was $300 that I was not planning on paying OOP...I thought we had ALREADY paid for it.

You need to know also that if you use credits for the HDDR you will get 2nd or 3rd tier...not closest to the stage unless you go to the late show.

When you book HDDR you must use your credit card to HOLD your reservation. Your credit card is NOT charged. As with any meal, you are charged after your meal. If you are NOT on the dining plan, you pay however you wish, cash, credit.

IF you are on the DDP - you must still use your credit card to HOLD your reservation. However, after your meal, the credits will be deducted from your plan. (HDDR is 2 TS credits).

You need to know also that if you use credits for the HDDR you will get 2nd or 3rd tier...not closest to the stage unless you go to the late show.

She is correct, you will get either 2nd or 3rd tier - IF you ARE on the dining plan.


This is usually explained when you make your ADR - although apparently sometimes it isn't. Hope this helps!
