Hoop de Doo menu....

We are going back to Hoop de Doo because we loved it so much.
The problem / question is that my DD (who will be celebrating her 12th birthday, that day) did not like the food. But she loved the show.

Are there other options? Typical kid food would do.

Yep - you can order a special kid's meal for your daughter - just be sure to note it on your reservation, and then you could call to verify the day before. They will bring it in from the Trail's End kitchen, I believe.

Of course, since she is twelve - you will still have to pay the adult price for her, even though she is eating a kid's meal.

I didn't know that you could order something else. My DD's are happy with the food, but are really happy with the show. You know, not much has changed there since I was the DD (too many years ago...).

What's not to love:

• best fried chicken around
• OK ribs
• corn in a butter sauce
• baked beans
• great garden salad for starters
• Strawberry Shortcake for dessert
• bottomless drinks

DD5 loved the chicken -- she was going through it like I've never seen her eat before. I think I was the only one who had the ribs in our family -- not the most tender things I've ever sunk my teeth into. The ribs at Flame Tree BBQ in AK are much better.

If the HDDR menu comes from Trail's End Buffet, I'd gladly eat there just to get more of that fried chicken.
