I made HDDR reservations for October 30th for the 9:30
show. The CM I talked to said there wasn't a way to
allow for a discount. I'm sure there's supposed to be a
discount for something. We have AP, Disney Visa, and
TIW. In the past they always took the discount at the time
of payment - when you made your reservation. Two
questions: Isn't there a discount with one of these? And
how does it get applied?

You may be able to apply a discount when you pick up your tickets, if one is available. You'd be refunded the difference in price.

Try using TIW at that point - they usually have a discount for the 9:30 show.

I was able to have Disney Dining give the TIW discount for 9:30 show over the phone in May, and it worked out fine. I doubt the process has changed since then. But I have also had them forget or fail to do it (despite saying they had on the phone call) and I had no trouble having the discount applied when I picked up my tix with TIW in hand.

You might want to call WDW Dine back and say "hey, shouldn't the TIW discount be applied?" and perhaps a more knowledgeable CM will be able to help you change it.
