Hoop De Do question

We're a party of 14 (with some young children) attending a 5 p.m. Hoop de Doo show.

Besides getting cabs, what's the easiest (and shortest) way for us to get back to POR? Do they run buses after the show?

I'd get there taking the MK bus, then go to the dock to catch the Fort Wilderness boat. Pioneer Hall is close to the dock on the other end. On the way back, I'd take the reverse route - boat to MK, then bus to POR.

This route avoids transfers at DTD, which IMO are to be avoided whenever possible. Plus, boats are fun!

There are buses waiting after the last show of the evening. Those buses will take a bunch of guests from resorts that are nearby to each other. But, that isn't an option for the first two performances.
Your best bet would be to take the boat back to MK, after the show. Then take the POR bus from MK. The only way this wouldn't work is if MK closed early that night. But, the resort buses continue for an hour or two after the park closes. So, even if the park closed at 6, you should still be able to get a bus back to POR.
Worst case scenario....bus to DTD and then the boat back to POR from there. Or, the bus, but I enjoy the boat more, if it's running.
