Forgive me if you are reading this twice...I posted it in the main board before I realized there was a Honeymoon/Wedding board:
Hello,
my wife and I are going on our (delayed) honeymoon this June. We were married last Aug. but we are both teachers, so school years got in the way
.
Anyway, we will be staying in the AKL from 6/10-6/16. Here is my interary that I working on using the Unofficial Guide. I'd like some first hand advice to help make this a memorable trip.
Day 1(F): Arrive at approx. 9:30
AK (following UG afternoon plan-starts at 1 pm)
8:00 Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show (booked)
Day 2(Sa): DisneyQuest (my wife and I both love video games)
MK (following UG Starlight touring plan)
Day 3(Su): Epcot (UG sunrise TP)
Downtown Disney (shopping)
Pleasure Island
Day 4(M): MK (sunrise plan)
Fantasia Gardens minigolf (we both love mini golf too!)
Day 5(T): Typhoon Lagoon
Epcot (sunset TP)
Day 6(W): MGM (1 day TP)
Day 7(Th): Blizzard Beach
Winter Summerland minigolf
anything else we like to revisit
Departure at 7 pm.
Obviously not every minute is built in, so that we can shop, etc. We have the meal plan, so we've picked restaurants that make sense for where we will be at (I'll spare you those details).
My only question (for now) is in regards to the water parks: The UG says going at night can be "charming" and that crowds may not be bad. How late are they open, and are crowds really better then?
Thanks so much for any help you can give! I've been reading posts on here for a while, so I know that you all can be very helpful.

) But as far as crowds go I think it's the luck of the draw really. If you go on a slightly overcast day it will be a LOT less crowded than on a 90 degree day with bright sunlight, so if your looking for no crowds at the waterparks, allow yourselves that flexibility in your itenerary. My husband and I have been to Typhoon Lagoon on very sunny days in June and July and found it completely uncrowded, but we've also been there when you could hardly move under similiar circumstances. At night the crowds will die down a bit, but the water will seem cooler as the air cools off I have been told. Were from right by Lake Erie so we think 50 degree water is warm!
So in my opinion I think it's still warm at night but keep in mind I'm really used to colder climates and water. Also, at Typhoon Lagoon there are some fun thigns that a lot of people miss out on! There is a shark reef there that you can swim through that is a lot of fun, so make sure to hit that, and if you are into surfing they offer surfing classes in the morning, but htats a charge of $125/person I believe. Anyways have fuN!!!!
Since your from there though the water probably won't bother you guys either at the waterparks. My friends whom the water did bother were all raised in either Texas or Nevada in amazingly warm weather!!!
