I'll be honeymooning next October and I'm trying to determine a fall back plan. My preferences are as follows: BWV, AKL Value, and AKL Standard. I know all 3 of these can be tough to get especially in October. So my question is would renting points at OKW or booking at Coronado Springs be a better option for the honeymoon? We plan on renting a car so transportation is not an issue.

1st off :welcome:to the Disboards..

Thank you! Nice to find a community of people who love Disney just as much as my fiancé and I!

2nd..Yes those 3 are tougher, but not impossible. I'm assuming you're on a tight budget, judging by the BWV standard, AKV Val. & Standard...

For a honeymoon trip, any of the resorts will make your fiancee feel like a princessfor sure. SOme a lil more than others, but I'm guessing you'll want to be where there are more adults...

I personally LOVED CSR, & wouldn't hesitate staying here again. More grown up feel, & even though you'll be driving, this has the absolute best bus service IMHO.

If I had the money I'd probably splurge for GFV, or POLY, but either should be fine...

Have a great trip..Pre Congrats..LoL

Yes we thought about splurging for GF or the Poly but at the end of the day we'd save quite a bit with the other three options. Hoping we can get BWV to be close to food and wine though.

OKW is intriguing though....It is a lot more quiet ( if that's what you'd prefer )& has the close proximity to DS, which has a lil nightlife for ya.

True food & wine will be nice to be able to hop over at any given time....Also try for BCV, (which is even closer) to EPCOT. Or maybe start looking into SWAN & DOLPHIN too......These might be a nice alternative for ya...Only drawback is that you won't have DME, or the dining plan. But still it has the great location.

If you want BWV for F&W, you need to book that now.

I'm actually looking for Oct of 2017 so I have several months before I can book.
