Honeymoon???

Disneyworld!! We had a blast and can't wait to go back!

We did the Disney land & sea package- 4 days in the parks and 3 days on the Magic! It was great and we would recommend it to anyone!

We went to Hawaii. It was awesome!

We have a few places in mind. Hawaii, WDW, or Europe (maybe a 10 day european cruise through the mediterranian)

Paris. DH hates the beach so a usual Hawaii or Caribbean honeymoon was definitely out. I loved Paris, I highly recommend it! Hawaii is where most of my friends have gone and they all loved it.

Maui!! The island is intoxicating.

We are semi lay by the beach people but lean more towards the active side. Maui gave us both. We explored the whole island. Rented a jeep and went halfway around. Then I surprised dh with a harley davidson and we went on the road to hana with that. Other than that we did typical hawaiian stuff. (luau, surf lessons, snorkel, whale watch, etc.). WOW that was a great honeymoon!

I say you look at both your personalities to see what fits.

We went to WDW! (1996)

First we just spend several days hanging out at home. Turned in the official stuff and got our marriage certificate (which in OR is just the signed, completed, then certified marriage license, which isn't very romantic-looking), opened a joint bank account, that sort of thing.

Then we took the train up to Vancouver, stayed a night, got on Radiance of the Seas and had a 7 day Alaska cruise. Another night in Vancouver (saw the comedian Eddie Izzard that evening), took the train back home.

It was lovely.

DH and I got married at WDW so we spent a week there around the time of our wedding. We then went to Sandals Grande Ocho Rios in Jamaica. We had a great time and cant wait to go back.

We did a two week split honeymoon. I always knew I wanted to go to WDW for part of our honeymoon, but didn't want DH to have to spend his whole honeymoon there. So we did 7 nights on Royal Caribbean's newest ship Oasis of the Seas followed by 8 nights at Beach Club Villas! We had so much fun.

Disney World/Disney Cruise!

We did, too!

We had a 4-day weekend after our wedding in May (Williamsburg). In December 1990 we took a 4-day cruise on Premier Cruise Lines (I think it's the Big Red Boat now) to the Abacos Out Islands (Caribbean) and then 3 days in Disney. It was great!

We also went to St. John USVI. It was amazing. We rented a jeep and explored the island, snorkeled at all the beautiful beaches, ate in some neat restaurants. If we wanted excitement, we could take the ferry to St. Thomas.

We went to disney of course! We stayed at the GF (only time
I have been able to) and did a deluxe plan. It was wonderful. We did fancy dinners and rented boats and loved being on the monorail for quick trips back to the hotel.

We live in the North and got married on Valentine's Day, so naturally we went skiing in the Laurentian Mountains in Quebec!
Just for the record, 34 years later, that would NOT be my choice today!

So we did 7 nights on Royal Caribbean's newest ship Oasis of the Seas

The Oasis is on my wishlist for my next cruise!!! It was in Nassau the same day we were there in March which made me want to go on it even more!!

DH & I were in our last semester of college, doing our student teaching. My honeymoon was short, but sweet. We got married on Sat. afternoon, drove up to Birmingham(AL), had an elegant dinner at our hotel, went to bed, then got up early to watch the first space shuttle take off(on TV). Then we came home, did laundry, and got ready for school the next day.

We had our first real getaway about 8 years later. We went on a mission trip to Jamaica. Okay, maybe not a great honeymoon but it was very pretty. For our 20th anniversary we went to the UK for a week and *that* trip was awesome! Number 30 coming up next year--I'll be interested to read more honeymoon suggestions.

We stayed at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun. It was great! Very luxurious and kind of like a cruise without the seasickness.
