Summary and tips.
How can I summarise this holiday? So many things I could say but I dont want to ramble on. I want to keep this short, informative, and helpful.
1. Perkins sucks. The staff there are miserable and the food poor. Dennys is far far better and the exact same price.
2. Poppeyes was a bit up and down quality wise this time. We had 2 good meals 1 bad one. But it was still yummy.
3. The Mercado was dead and is looking ready to fall down.
4. most steak houses on Idrive are expensive now even by English standards.
5. Pointe orlandos looking fairly dead but its still semi busy and 90% of its lots are full.
6. TGIs sports bar was the only eatery to sell reasonably priced beer.
7. Halloween horror nights was AMAZING and well worth doing again though its definetly not for younger children.
8. richters burger co at universal and finnegans in universal do amazing food.
9. if you dont mind being semi split up use the single rider line. They have one on MIB and one on the mummy. It saves SO much time and enables you to ride it over and over.
10. pick your days to visit animal and magic kingdom as they are manic most days.
11. while there is a show or parade on or people are at lunch is a great time to do rides. Eg during fantasmic. or even in the last 30 mins to 1 hour of the park bring open.
12. its nicer to walk round epcot in the dark without the heat to tire you out. Plus all the lands are lit up.
13. a great place to watch illuminations is on the main walk way down to the golf ball by the fountains that shoot water halfway down.
14. take your own water to the parks and snacks if possible. Much cheaper.
15. stow your items in lockers before riding the mummy. They wont letcha on otherwise.
16. IoA isnt so great anymore as all the coasters are outside and thus you can see what comes next.
17. the crowne plaza is an AMAZING hotel. Well worth staying in.
18. there were a series of villa type motel things in a lot next door to our hotel. Were either holiday inn or mariott I forget. But either way they were all being refurbed so this coming summer will probably be a good new fresh place to stay. They were on sandlake road.
19. the florida mall is just as cheap as belz now.
20. the Osborne lights at mgm look amazing.
21 the chinese in the fast foody type section of china at epcot is amazing and great value for money.
Thats all I can think of for now. Will add more if I think of them.

22. when going to IOA wear gear that dries easy as on dudley do rights, jurassic park and blutos you WILL get VERY wet.
23. the villans shop in mgm is a great place to get that more unusual present.
24. when in mgm do NOT be in the star tours area as an indiana jones show ends. it gets very crowded and all the rides there get hecticly busy. the start times of the show is on the times guide. to tell when it ends add 30-40 mins to the start time.
25. if you want to eat in the sci fi diner(well worth it) make priority seatings as during the busier periods waits were upwards of 1 hour.
27. fastpasses/express passes are your friend. USE THEM.
