Day 8 6th of November: The day that never was
Woke up fairly early despite the late night drinking before and headed down to Kents hotel. His GF had driven down from Pensacola during the night to spend the weekend with us too. She was wide awake so we went to breakfast at dennys. Cant stress enough how different this place is to Perkins. Happy staff and much nicer food. After eating Kent and Anne were tired so we decided to go back to our respective rooms, let them have a few hours kip and then head to downtown Disney a lil later than planned. We rang them around 1pm and they were still sleeping. To cut a long story short we never went to downtown Disney lol. They were both so tired from the drives we decided to just have a relaxing day. So Jessica and I just relaxed in the room till about 6pm when we all met up and wandered up I-drive to the tgis wed spotted.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM jack Daniels sauce. There is NO better sauce in the whole world. And the ribs underneath the sauce were perfect. The meat just fell off the bones. So tender.
We had a great meal but once again stuck to drinking soft drinks because the beer prices were obscene. After that we all piled back to the room, and on the way bought 12 beers and a bottle of captain Morgans rum *grins* .
We sat there till night on 1am just drinking and chatting. We did get a call from next door at one point though complaining of the noise hehe but we quietened up after that.
At the end of it all there was maybe 20% of the captain left and 4 beers so a good night in all hehe and a nice day to break up the rush of the holiday.
Oh as a side note Michelob amber bock is a pretty nice brand beer wise, even by American standards.
