Honeymoon Suites at GF

Just wondered if anyone had details of these or stayed in them. What are the views like from these rooms?

Also wondered what other suites are available at the GF at what there like?

Finally I noticed on one website there is Conceirge and Conceirge Deluxe, I wondered what the difference is?

My husband and I were married in WDW this past August and we spent almost 3 weeks at GF in both kinds of honeymoon suites. I can't help you with the Deluxe Concierge thing, though!

Anyway, we were first put in a room on the Clarendon Level. This level has only 9 rooms and are all king-sized "Honeymoon" rooms. They are exactly the same size as a regular room, except they have a kid-sized bed. Most of them have great views of the castle, if you can see past the trees and get over the fact that the food court is directly beneath your room. There is a balcony and a jacuzzi tub - I never did figure out how to work that thing. We liked the room, we requested it mainly because of the balcony. However, there was an extremely loud party going on one night in the room next to me and, after making repeated calls to the front desk and them making calls and visits to the room next door, we were moved to one of the octagon rooms. I have to say, I was disappointed that I was losing my balcony while the fools next door got to keep theirs! The octagon room was gorgeous! We had a great view of MK and the beach and we could even see the Epcot fireworks! I didn't miss the balcony at all. With these rooms, you run the risk of having a fabulous view of the parking lot and the monorail since the MK view isn't guaranteed. So, if the MK view is a MUST have, you should request the Clarendon rooms.

I don't know anything about the other concierge rooms, so I'll bow out quietly and let someone else take over that part of it!

I'd love to know more too. I'll be there on my honeymoon in June! We requested a room with a Balcony. Very excited! Thanks for the information...

The Honeymoon rooms with the balcony are on the Clarendon Level. We liked it there until the lunatics moved in next door. The view was OK....like I said, you can see the castle through the palm trees. The lagoon view rooms have a better view of the castle since they're closer. The rooms are standard size with a king-sized bed. Nothing special, but still really nice (it is GF, afterall!). The jacuzzi....well, the tub was great to soak in and read, but my only experience with it was when my mother decided to use it to relax on my wedding day and ended up flooding the bathroom and getting a beating in the kidneys and back of the head! So, while it made for some laughs on my wedding day, I never used it other than to soak, but it was great. There is a big soaking tub in the octagon room, too, but it doesn't have the jacuzzi, which, if you can figure it out, might be nice to have!

The balcony is great, but the tables for the food court are directly underneath you, so you have kids running around and people looking up at you. Again, I didn't have a problem with this.....just wear clothes and underwear on the balcony!! You can't really hear much of anything when the balcony door is closed anyway, but it was a bit busy around breakfast and dinner. No big deal, but there is always that ONE kid running and screaming....they're at every hotel and this is no different!

I loved both honeymoon rooms, so if you don't get your request, don't be too upset. I'm sure you'll love the octagon room just as much and the balcony won't seem like such a big loss in the Grand scheme of things.
