I've been getting the emails as well. My shower is in 12 days, so I'd really like to have this site up and running!

BTW - I called today to find out about why I couldn't see any accomodations in my registry. She said they'd had glitches if people booked through outside vendors, but I didn't, so they're working on fixing mine. I think there are a bunch of glitches right now, so keep a close eye on your registry to make sure everything is right.

Also, the contact us email doesn't work - it bounced back which is why I had to finally call.

I think you have to have a reservation for accomodations, but I don't think they have to be paid for, which is why you can put the accomodations on your registry. Not positive though.

Has anyone received their card yet? I'm getting "reminder" emails every day from Disney telling me I have to complete my registration, but in order to do that I need the number on the card. You'd think Disney would wait a couple weeks to start sending out those reminders.

Congrats, and no, this registry would not be for you. It's a new service Disney has for people honeymooning at WDW, where you can register for accomodations, dining, spa treatments, etc. and people put money towards things on your honeymoon that way.

We're excited about it because we're both in our thirties and both have houses that are full of stuff, so we don't really need any of the 'just starting out' things on a typical registry.

Are you doing a disney wedding and then going to Hawaii? If so you can use it for your wedding stay at Disney - as long as you've got a Disney hotel reservation. You can use it to buy meals, pay for your room and buy Disney souvineers while on property. Plus since you live in Florida, you can save the money on the gift card to use for later Disney trips.

The only thing I can tell that you can't use it for is to pay for the wedding expenses themselves, but seems like just about anything else.

I called last week and explained the situation and they were kind enough to use another card to activate my registry! They told me that the first batch of cards just went out early last week. I still haven't seen the first card though.
We are so excited about it we can barely contain ourselves!!!

My shower is SUNDAY and I dont' have the card they sent yet either. What other card did they use to activate it? I may need to do the same thing.

My new replacement card arrived today via certified mail! I never did receive the original card they sent me.

If you haven't received your card I would go ahead and call!

I've finally registered for my Disneymoon. DF and I have been struggling over making a reservation for the honeymoon for weeks. We finally just sucked it up and booked at the Caribbean Beach. It looks nice and we can't afford to go back to the Caribbean any time soon, so it will have to work. Have any of you had difficulties accessing your registry? There must be a lot of traffic on the site, because I can't get anything to go through.

I called today and finally got them to add my room at the GF to our list - don't know why it was ever missing, and then they were nice enough to activate my registry and send me a new card certified mail as well. Thanks for the heads up on that!!!

Now I just have to see if I can get my family to use it!!!


OH, for those of you waiting, the CM I spoke to this morning said the cards were mailed late last week and might not arrive until early next week.

I just read an article on CNN regarding honeymoon registries and they said you had to be careful because sometimes there are fees involved. For those of you who have already started the process, did you read any fine print about fees that Disney will charge? I assume no, since it's a free program, but just wanted to be sure.

I received my card today...it came fedex! It has nice graphics on it!
