Honeymoon Photo Shoot

Yet another question about this!

I've seen photos from some MK Honeymoon Sessions but was wondering if anyone had photos to share that have done this at other parks. Are you even able to pick a park? Does it have to be the MK?

My SIL and her fiance are doing the honeymoon shoot since they are having Randy for their wedding photos. They were told they could select the park. She just talked about this last week, but I don't know much more than that.

Hopefully someone will come along with more info and some photos!

Well I got some info from the Event Group and it looks to be pretty straight forward. I think my only other question would be I know you get 20 photos in an album, but don't you think that they'd take more than 20 photos in an hour? Do they Photopass the rest of them for you?

I had the honeymoon/engagement photo shoot done over christmas, and they took 40pictures. They pick 20 to put in an album and the rest are given to you loose, so I have been told. I have not yet received mine in the mail.

We did ours at Animal Kingdom. We got some really good shots ! I love the "tropics", so AK gave us lots of greenery, etc... Since we did the MK bridal shoot, I couldn't see doing a honeymoon shoot there too. And while lots of people get great photos at Epcot, that is just not me. I couldn't picture a bunch of "great" locations at MGM, so AK it was ! You get 20 of them in an album (they pick the photos) and the rest you get loose. HTH

In the most recent email that I got from Rosie, it says that you get 2 pictures, not 20. Is this still the case? Does anyone know if you still get the rest loose?

I ended up calling today and they sent an email with sample photos and list of everything included. For the Honeymoon Session, it stated 20 photos in a white album with pictures taken over an hour period.
So now to pick a site!

I had my MK honeymoon photo shoot about a month ago and I just got 2 5x7's in a folio. I didn't get any loose photos at all. I know that in the past the honeymoon photo shoot included 20 photos in an album but it was my understanding that they changed the package sometime last spring or summer. Not sure if maybe they've changed it back again?

Now that you mention it, I do remember hearing that they were changing it to the 2 5X7's. I think that is only for the one you swap out if you hire a private photographer though. I think if you pay for the shoot you still get more. Definately send an email to your planner and get the response via email so that you have it in writing. If you have been on the dis for any length of time, you know everyone gets a different answer. So, just make sure you get yours in writing !

When I phoned and made the appointment for my photoshoot they said I would get 20pics in an album. If I dont get them I will make such a fuss! Thats the only reason I used disney's photographer for my engagment photos, I love albums. Oh well, hopefully they will arrive in the mail soon.

Okay... I'm trying to figure this one out!!

I think if you book the honeymoon shoot as an extra (Wishes, or Escape if you're keeping DPS for your ceremony), you get the 20 pictures in the album.

I think if you're swapping you wedding (Escape) photography package out for the honeymoon shoot because you choose to go with an outside vendor, you only get the 2 picture folio.

Does this seem right?

I fall into the second catagory and my BEO shows me only getting a 2 picture folio.

Yeah I am an escape bride too,and I was told that you get the 2 5x7s.

I think you are right Wendy..that's what it says on my BEO too.
