I had everything booked for CSR when the teenage kids said they would rather stay home than goto WDW............sigh. Thats when I found the 7 day 2 park $87.00 US tixs. So the $$ I will save on WDW tixs allowed me to book the RPR with FOTL. We are going Dec 17th -- Dec 20 and its going to be sort of a honeymoon for me and my better half (getting married on Dec 16th).

Does anyone have any "honeymoon type things" suggestions.....wait thats asking for trouble......Are there any things to do at the parks or Citywalk that can be memorable for our honeymoon? The kids are 18 & 16 so they can go off and do their own thing at the parks without us at some point.

I've never been there for a honeymoon but I'm sure other homies have. That time of year is wonderful here and the crowds haven't invaded Orlando yet. I'm sure you'll have a great time and let the folks at the RPR know that it's a honeymoon.

Lots of places for nice quiet dinners and lots of clubs for 'havin' fun' :rolleyes1

1. If you are into sinful desserts, check out The Dessert Lady at 4900 S Kirkman, just a bit north of Universal Orlando. It's a wine bar with the best desserts I've ever eaten. 407-822-8881.

They'll fix 'em up to go so you can have a bedtime "snack." The web site is www.dessertlady.com I don't think they deliver, but you can ask.

2. In Islands of Adventure, each land has a secluded area near the lagoon for fairly private smooching. The best: the park in Port of Entry (they'd taken out the benches here last time I looked. boo. hiss.) and the overgrown jungle in Jurassic Park behind the Discovery Center.

3. Musica della Notte at Portofino Bay. Check to be sure it's on, but if it is, head over for a glass of wine in the piazza as singers serenade from balconies above.

4. Emeril's is the default choice for that special dinner. Avoid Bice at PBH; IMHO, it's loud, over-priced and anything but romantic.

5. Phone ahead to RPR and request champagne (or whatever) for your room.

6. If it's warm enough, a cabana for the day at the villa pool at PBH. Very private, very classy.

Don't have any honeymoon suggestions, but that is a great time to go! We were there those dates last year, and the crowd levels were way low!!
