Honeymoon in September

My fiance and I are going to be visiting WDW for our honeymoon from September 6-12,2006.This is my first time ever at WDW,but he goes every single year.We are staying at the Pop Century Resort,and when he called to make the final payment on the trip,he mentioned it was our honeymoon and they upgraded our bed from a double to a queen! My fiance is already telling me how the WDW cast members and other park visitors will bend over backwards to be nice to us even more than usual when they see us wearing our Mickey and Minnie wedding hats (he has already bought them and they are sitting in a box waiting to be worn!). I am so excited about going!

Not to rain on your parade, because he may be right, but I have also heard from people who got little/no response with the wedding ears on the honeymoons/weddings. So, no matter what happens, just be glad that you are honeymooning in Disney with your hubby, the rest is icing!

Yes, it can be true that you will get some...just try not to expect it. We don't want you to be disappointed!

The great part about the timing of your trip is the parks will not be crowded. We are actually going home on the 6th and I wish I could stay longer.

September will be a great month to honeymooon! I would have loved to have had it then, but alas, I start grad school in september so no dice.

Hi ,One tip i want to share with you is that if you plan make reservation (in advance) for dinner inside theme park, remember to ask the staff to make a note that you are on your honeymoon , you could get some gifts!

When we went to have dinner at Cinderella's Royal Dinner during our honeymoon, we got a good seat and a pair of champagne glasses at the end of our meal!

also, don't forget to stop by Guest Services in MK and pick up your "Just Married" buttons...the CM's are always on the lookout for those so at the very least you will get lots of "Congratulations"!!! My sweetie is refusing to wear the Groom ears while we are on our honeymoon in August, so the buttons will be good for us even though I amTOTALLY wearing my minnie bridal ears!!! I do hope that we will be sprinkled with Pixie dust while we are there, but I am just so dang happy to be with my best friend at my favorite place in the whole world, that anything extra will be just be the icing on the cake!!! (I know, GAG...sorry...but I just can't help it!!!)

Just make sure you have them note on your ressies and ADRs that it is your honeymoon. Also, stop by at guest services and pick up those honeymoon buttons, they are free. We also wore our ears 2 days and recieved minimal congratulations. When we wore the buttons, OMG!!!! We recieved so many congratulations, they are trained to look out for the buttons, they also have birthday and anniversary buttons. The main thing is...have a wonderful time and just let the 'pixie dust' land where it will!!!!
