honeymoon at OKW?

I am considering having our honeymoon at OKW next May-June. I want a room with a jacuzzi tub, so am looking into the 1 bedrm villas.

Anyone have comments/suggestions as to what buildings to stay in, what to ask for, etc. I am new at this Disney planning so I need all the help I can get!

Make sure you tell them it's your honeymoon!!!!! Sometimes they do special things for special occasions.

I'd take a room a little off the beaten path, with maybe a golf course view. The 1BRs are nice...you'll be amazed at the size of them!

Take the little boat to DD...that's a nice romantic little thing to do. It's a nice resort to walk around...a relaxing aram in arm stroll is a romantic honeymoon thing. Enjoy the quiet pools, but spend some time at the main pool too...maybe with a nice "fou-fou" drink with an umbrella in it.

How aout a nice little picnic lunch somewhere on the griounds? DH and i rented a boat from the marina and went all through the waterway there...that was nice too!

DH & I spent our honeymoon at WDW, but it was long before DVC.
OKW is our home & we love it for our annual family trips. However, when DH & I go for our "every 5 yr. anniversary" adult-only trip, we try to stay at BWV. We love to walk to Epcot & MGM, where we spend more time than when we have DSs w/ us. Just a suggestion. But you can't go wrong honeymooning at OKW & I definitely agree w/ your "need" for a hottub. It's the best reason for getting a 1BD, over a studio.
Congratulations on our upcoming wedding. A word of caution! Our honeymoon started us on our love-affair w/ Disney. I had been to WDW before our marriage & I was the one to suggest it. DH had never been to WDW & was agreeable, but not overly-thrilled. Well now we have 2 DVC contracts & he's a bigger Disney nut than me. And we've raised 2 DSs, who really view DVC as their second home.

I like water view - building 55 - of course at night sometimes you heard the noise from DD - but you can also walk easily to DD from this building.

Shortly after DW and I checked into VWL this past Jan on our honeymoon they called to amke sure we were there to get our gift. They sent up a small bottle of champagne and a card.

My wife as she is now lol and me got married at Hilton Head beach house it was great ... They had left a message for us on the TV in our room + 2 mini bottles of champers + a fruit basket and some balloons.
