Nebo,
You arent allowed not to have another trip planned, when you are about done with this report..
I am soooooo glad to hear that the news for Monica is good.
Bee
I couldn't agree more about the trip part. It is just killing us not to have anything in the works, but we have no choice. If the housing market hadn't fallen off the map we would have our house for sale and be bidding on where we want to live in Vista DelLago.
Harumph!
Colleen, join me in bashing Nebo for totally neglegting us? Me I can understand.I was a 30 minutes glass of water woman, but Colleen?
OK, done raking you over the coals, Nebo. You know we all want to keep reading your stories.
And if not here, then there!
LY/MI
Marita, I must have stepped out in the lobby for a few minutes cuz I missed something, how did I neglect you and Colleen? I usually reserve that chore for Diane. Sorry girls. By the way, those are great shots of the lights Colleen, amazing what you can take with those throw away cameras, isn't it?
NOW you may feel properly dissed!

Loved it. But is it really over now?

What will I read next? I did hear the first few notes of "Hotel California" floating from the
Disneyland TR thread. I may have to take a peek.
Danielle, we have a wrap up coming, but yeah, we're pretty much done. Believe me, I'm sad too.
I can't believe it is almost over...wait...didn't you have another trip after this or was this look for somewhere to live trip? I'm all confuzzled!
Janet, I've already thrown in some shots from the feb trip, and yes that was part of the somewhere to live trip. After the wrap up, I'm going to toss in a few more pictures from then, but it really won't be a trip report. Besides, I've pretty much worn out my welcome I think on the trip reports, four reports back to back did get me grasping for interesting new things to write about, as you could probably tell by the DIStionary, grocery store trip,,,,, skeery room in Kissimmee.
It's so sad to be almost over!!

Just make up a trip, we won't know the difference....
And yes, I want to hear the reunited story, too.
Sorry, you won't hear from either of us what led to our initial break up, not a nice place to visit. I did write about how we ended up back to gether though, in the first report I believe. Basically, it went like this:
We still had the same circled of friends evne though we were split up, and kept running into each other. I had recently had my last foot operation, and two eye surgeries, and really wanted to get away, and WHAT DO YOU KNOW? Disney popped into my mind. So one day when she was bartending, I asked her if she had any money, wanna go to DisneyWorld?
Next thing I know, I'm checking prices on line and calling, and,,,, reserving.
Hey, if I'm going to Disney, I want it to be with someone I KNOW loves it there too.
On may 10th, '02, we left in my little Hyundai Tiburon for a 3 night stay at at AKL, then a four night at stay at ASMovies. AKL then was 129 a night for a savannah view, however, they did for some reason stick us with one double bed and a BUNK bed! Yep, a couple getting back together, "Let's give them bunk beds!"
Naturally, I called top.
We had decided to go in December, but what I remember as being the most exciting thing in the planning stage was going to the
Disney Store in January for our "4 day Hopper passes". We hadn't been to Disney since '94, which was only our second time, but this trip in '02 brought a bunch of new things to see for us, including and brand new park, AK.
It was so empty that trip, first may since 9/11, and it was pretty barren still, part of the reason for such a cheap rate. But oh, the Disney magic was flowing all right. Soon after she moved in with me in my townhouse, and put the other house up for sale. We officially remarried nov. 6 of '03.
As we have said many times, "She likes to say the divorce just didn't work out, and I say she's much nicer than my first wife."
*sheepishly says from the corner* I'm caught up... can I come out now?
And to prove it.......
That's a morey.......
What a great day I've had sitting on my duff, catching up here. Nebo, you are too much, man.... too much.
Thanks Lbaw, I missed you!
Why are you drooling?
Did I miss something?
Zebra Domes?
Tonga Toast?
Dole Whips?
Novacane in the mouth?
Wow! A dedication? You mean all you gotta do is get a kidney taken out and you get a dedication on a Nebo TR?
Dang..........
Mony, I was "kinda" drooling because of the vikes, and "special" Dole WHips, and then the manhattans, ok, I zaggerated a tad. And tell Tim not to waste the vikes after he eats, they work much better on an empty stomach.
You had your share of Disney for 2007, mister.
Drooling is unusual for you? Because you were drooling every time I saw you at POR.
JUST KIDDING.
Love the exchange with the boat lady. But again. Did that really happen? Wait. Don't answer that.
Do you have a job yet? I hope so.
Love to Diane!
(You guys come and
play my trivia tournament!)
Melinda, do you think I'd make up a phony conversation and have me come out the loser? And no, I'm not working yet, I check on line every single day, buy newspapers constantly and have sent out countless resumes. I'm a dinosaur in a dying field, and I can tell nobody wants someone in there fifties. Probably doesn't help when I spend the whole interview talking about Disney.
Okay, gotta ask....
what's a K-tel record?
Wow, you are young. K-Tel used to make their own song collections amoung other products and then scream them at you during commercials for All in the Family and Mash. Sorry, M*A*S*H. You probably don't remember the Popeil Pocket Fisherman either, right?
