Honey, I Shrunk the Checkbook, Really final, some Feb shots, 7-27, pg82.

Now THAT is HILARIOUS!!!:rotfl:

actually, we found out : first come only applied to actual "seating" If you have a ressie , even inside the restaurant, they lead you out to a patio viewing area.. It was OK. but nice that you didn't have to "Stake out" a spot for an hour ahead of time

Thanks Smidgy! Maybe I'll get a chance at some good pics?

RE: creepage. can you believe we spend years avoiding it, and now young girls buy "thongs" to have creepaage on purpose??:confused3
My DFIL was actually complaining yesterday, he said "the line to Soarin was always an hour and the fastpass lines were always an hour!"

I realized then that all this time (years mind you) he's thought the fastpass times were how long the line was. So when it said 1130 at 1030 Dad was thinking the line was an hour long

I then explained to him how Fastpasses work and he was like, OMG! That's a great idea!
aint:

:lmao: :lmao:

to clarify: if you are lucky, you get an outside seating (not so lucky if it rains) and can sit and watch. otherwise, the waitress has to lead you outside to the patio. it is a relatively small area, so chances are you will have people standing in front of you, unless you get out there first.
nebo's correct, it is not a great spot for the "running of the bulls" afterword! (unless you are staying at swan, dolphin, Yand B club, or boardwalk, of course. that was great a few times when we did stay at dolphin! we viewed Illum, from the bridge between england and france. walked back and were at the swan singing karaoke in 15 minutes!)

that just reminded me! once, whilst walking through ENgland I spotted a couple looking quite lost. ever happy to help (thusly showing my incredible Disney knowledge, i.e. let me teach you, grasshopper) they told me they had reservations in England and there IS no England on the map! (It says "united Kingdom"):rotfl:

:lmao: That is too cute Smidgy!

Adrian and I actually parked at the Boardwalk for lunch that day and never moved the car so we got to go out the International Gateway for the running of the bulls.

Ohh yes, let's hope for no rain!!

Rats, we are but not this first night!! Hmm, I'll have to consider some trickski options...

Thanks for your review of R & C, Nebo. Now maybe DH and I can actually get an ADR there since you turned everyone off! ;) Yes, we really do like it. :)

Nebo
Thanks so much for the great update and the R&C info. Will NOT be going there in Feb. EEEEEEWWWWW that thing just looks nasty. What cook in there right mind sends something like that out to customers. Gives me the Heebie Geebies.

Looking forward to more. :woohoo:

Cheryl

Hi Cheryl. that thing is disgusting, no? Doesn't seem like something they would serve in "England", more like Guyana. No wonder they talk funny over there.

:faint:

Great story. And I can see how it happened if they checked the main board.

:rotfl: Not staying off site, just missed the question, sorry. But if I were staying off site I probably would be too embarrassed to tell you!!
Right now we are planning on Coronado Springs, it looks so pretty! But having the three year old I started leaning toward Pop Century. I think he would love everything there so much.
I'm not booking until Jun 10th or so, have a bit of time to decide still. There seems to be pros and cons to all of them and all the categories. At first we were POFQ, then Coronado Springs, now ?????

Boy, that's a tough one. I think with a 3 year old, I would go with Pop, but I'd make sure to request the fifties section. It's got it's own pool, has the best theming, and is close to the main pool and food court. Coronado blows it away, but the ambience would be wasted, too much walking, and the food court there will break you. I'm going to post some new pics of CS soon from our feb trip, but speaking for kids everywhere, Pop it Top!

I'm SOOO glad it wasn't against ME!!!! :rotfl2:

Neeb-oh! Great installment!

I love your a moray adventures and having to dry swallow 3 "spearmint tic tacs"!

I think when Diane went inside the Land to procure the Fast passes, I flagged her down! NOT that I needed yet another cameo :cool2: Just Sayin'!

I LOOOOVE that picture (too lazy to quote) of You and Diane! It's really especially flattering!
\

I knew it would happen sooner or later. I finally even confused even you guys. Wendy, you are mostly correct, I remember Diane saying she ran into you at the Land, then we saw you later that day with Disneydad, HaleyB and the dreaded, Sheridac.
But that was in september, we are now in december, I never really did a trip report on that one, just posted some pictures.
AND I GOT IN ENOUGH TROUBLE FROM JUST DOING THAT!

I agree on the picture Colleen took of us, very nice, dang, she's good. Gave me teeth and everything.

Thanks Smidgy! Maybe I'll get a chance at some good pics?

You do realize that "Stephanie" is just your chromosomatically way of spelling "Steve?"
chromosomatically? wonder if that's in the scrabble dictionary? Anyway, I still think the best spot is to the right of the Mexico bridge, in SHowcase Plaza. It's close to a main Epcot escape path for a quick getaway, really close to the fireworks, but best of all, you are FACING all the countries to see them when they light up, rather then having some behind you. Ok, just bring me along, and I'll show you exactly where to stand.

He now has only one hand.:rotfl:

:

Yeah, but it now really adds that "extra touch" when telling scary stories around the campfire!

Rats, we are but not this first night!! Hmm, I'll have to consider some trickski options...
:upsidedow

:rotfl:

Trickski? Hmm, Ladysteve just turned into Gollum.

I'm sorry. I didn't know that when they said "Dinner served anytime", that I would get an entree from the Cretaceous Period!

Garsh~ :blush: ::yes::

Making people look good in photographs is actually a fortee of mine...the running joke (seriously funny but true) is that I can make anyone look good. Even people who normally HATE their pictures being taken (ahem* wendysmidgyandmarita*ahem)

NOW you tell us, Colleen, GEEZ!!!!!!!!! I'll set up a portrait session next time you are down here :woohoo:

Great mega chapter Nebo!
Your vike story is one of a kind for sure and you have such a unique way
with words ::yes:: :rolleyes1
Boat zombies, funky fish, slurpies, eels, moses, flamboyant waving, saliva, soylent (what the ! is that?).
What crazy dreams you must have.

Nebo's mind works in mysterious ways ;)

:flower3: :wave2:

Just popping in and saying hi!!

I am loving this report and love y'alls sense o humor.

Now I have to teach myself to quit reading a persons entire trip report in one sitting so that I don't spend the weeks following anxiously awaiting a new chapter to be added.
Yep I speak run on at times too :)

You're right LadyM, I guess I was pretty much all over the map with the last one, kinda like Second City. By the way, Soylent Green was a Charlton Heston movie from the seventies. Set in a very bleak future, it was about how the government controlled you, and what they fed you. "Soylent Green" was the food, but I can't give it away what kind of food, just in case it ever pops up one night on tv.

Hi Donaldsoreeye, nice to have you with us, a new chapter will be coming up shortly, promise.

By the way, Soylent Green was a Charlton Heston movie from the seventies.

I never saw that one
I remember seeing a movie with Michael Cole from the Mod Squad, where
the government only let you have one child per couple. :sad2:

Hey so now you realize you had 2! Charlton Heston references.
You're the best:thumbsup2

true true! only colleen can make my tea stained, nicotine stained teeth look white! bless you!

colleen, we also drove over and parked at boardwalk for our meet at Beaches and Cream. we did go into epcot for a bit, but then took a brreak at the resort, and bussed it over later. a WHOLE day at the park is a bit much for us, esp. since we've seen so much of it already. we like a break by the pool.
also, I LOVE the challenge of the "running of the bulls". always trying to beat our last time. hey, it's the little things!:rotfl:
