Honesty time, how many times do you search?

My adr stalking has come to a screeching halt today. Has anyone else been having trouble with the website today?

I check only about 3 times a day, but the other people in my group check even more, so...I would say we get to 20-30 times a day easily.

I use the app on my phone to check 5or 6 times a day. Still trying for the elusive BOG.

OMG! I feel I check every hour if I'm home and not shuttling the kids around. My life will be complete with our last ADR I need for Tusker House and then we can resume our normal schedule!! Well, not quite resume b/c I still need to stalk the site for that A&E FP. Then all will be well and we can enjoy!

So I check between 5 and 30 times a time for each of the 4 ADRs I am still looking for, (didn't book till 170 days out during FD). Hope is slowly fading...

For 7-10 days or so after my booking window opens I'll check multiple times each day for the ADRs I wasn't able to get. That could be five times, or it could be 20, it all depends on how many opportunities I have to get online (I hate the app!). If I still haven't been able to book what I want I'll continue to check but not as often, and rely more on this board than anything else. I was able to get BOG for November as a fellow DISser posted they saw reservations available. My Chef Mickey ADR was had thanks to another poster on the cancellation thread.

We are going in 2 days and after trying for weeks we got the day and time we wanted for BOG for dinner. We checked relentlessly whenever our computers were on and just kept refreshing. We were actually able to get 4 different ADRS for BOG during our stay with checking often and were finally able to get the perfect time! So it is possible to get what you want! Don't give up!

TODAY WAS THE DAY!!!!! First check of the day and that CP 8am reservation was just sitting there!!! All that remains is BOG, which honestly is more for my folks, wife and I. I have officially booked everything I wanted for my lil' guy's first WDW vacation!

Awesome! I saw your offer for your other day on the August ADR Cancellation thread. I mentioned it to my boyfriend who asked "where else can we meeting Pooh and friends?", I said all of those characters - I don't think anywhere else. So all of a sudden that became a must do! I booked all our other ADRs at 180 days out and got all the restaurants and times I wanted. We have a 5:25pm O'hana dinner res on our full MK day so I figured pre-rope drop for CP since we've never made rope drop for anything. After much checking, I'm in at 8:35am so not early enough for rope drop but early enough to get some pics on an empty Main Street. It's a low crowd day so I'm not too concerned if we get out after 9am BUT I am still obsessively checking for an earlier time that same day (8/27).

I always use the app on my phone. I keep myself logged in and it takes under 30 seconds to pull up the app, click on dining, scroll to the restaurant and pick the date and time.

And it might pay off only one in a thousand times, but like a slot machine, those intermittent rewards are enough to guarantee that I'll keep playing.....

It's that one payoff though.....

Actually, so far I have gotten a 8:35am Crystal Palace one day, 8:10am CP another day while I decide which I want (like the time better on the 2nd but schedule wise works better on the 1st), and a 7:20pm at Rose & Crown.

ETA: I checked 4x while reading this thread.

The last 3 CMs I talked to to make ADRs all said they've never been to BOG for dinner. They can't get a reservation!

I've had 2 near misses for there and 5 misses for CRT.

And today a friend of my husband's said she decided that she'd like to go to WDW the same time we're there but she can't find any dining. Could I be a dear and just call to change all our reservations for 9 instead of our original 4??? Even though her kids are older than my kiddo, she'll just tolerate whatever character meals I have planned.

Keep in mind too, we're on the deluxe plan....

Oh yeah, did I mention how at the 40 day mark my dear old Mom decided to tell me she'd love to see CRT and was wondering if I could "Go ahead and book that"
