Honestly, how much better is the OKW pool?

We are going away this July and August for 13 days and staying at OKW. Now, honestly, having stayed there before, and the pool was nice. We have a two year old with us. Is the play-pool area much better?

Any opinions would be appreciated.

We were just there last week. The play area didn't seem all that different since we were there last year - though I could have easily missed something.

Our 8 year old daughter was scared to go down the pool slide, but after her first trip down, she went about 50 more and we had to drag her away. Though the slide is probably too much for your 2 year old to handle.

The play area is about the same size - it is a lot of fun for kids who like sand and I think the best play area of all the DVC resorts for small kids looking to do informal activities like sand castles, digging holes etc. With a slide added, the OKW pool is now first class IMHO

wait until your child is 5 to 12 - the slide will be the one thing at OKW that they insist upon doing.....
