Homework on Halloween

My DD in 1st had homework but it didn't take long. I think the longest part was to walk her across the street to show her the neighbors across the street have odd number addressses.

My 3rd grader did not get homework. My 5th grader did. It was the only 5th grade class to get homework. I told her not to even worry about it - I will send a note saying that she will be a day late due to trick or treating.

My 5th and 6th graders have no homework tonight.

My daughter, on the other hand, has two pages of Math.

It's a good lesson for "life goes on, do what ya gotta do, it'll put hair on your chest, etc."

I teach 3rd grade and I did give homework tonight. But the worksheet will take 20 minutes tops.

Another third grader teacher here, and yes, I gave out homework! It wasn't too bad though, our town had trick or treating on Sunday.

My 8th grader and my 4th grader had homework, my thrid grader did not. I wish no one had any but there is plenty of time to fit it all in. Just a lesson in how to juggle a few things at once for my kids. No big deal.
