Has anyone stayed at either one of these hotels? I am especially interested to learn of their cleanliness, and how the shuttle service operated. Thanks in advance!
I stayed at the Hawthorn Suites Lake Buena Vista lasy May for four nights, and loved it! The place is fairly new - only about two or three years old, and very clean. I stayed in a king bed suite with a full kitchen, and 2 tv's. Great room. The front desk was very professional and the lobby area was very nice. The free breakfast was standard though good - tater tots, scrambled eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, etc. The pool was a tad on the small side, but certainly fine enough. Nice location, too! I would not hesitate to stay there again.
I had a car, so unfortunately I don't know much about the shuttle buses. I seen the Homewood Suites across the street, but never been there. Hope this helps a bit!
When will you be going? We are going Oct 23-30 and have reservations at Hawthorns, 64.00 a night for a suite with a kitchen i just could not pass up. If you are going before me, i would really appreciate your review of this place when you get back.
