there were four different sections of singing
ensemble, middle school, high school, mixed

DD was in middle school and mixed (the last section, no sneaking out early)

and her spot was right behind the raised lid of the grand piano
on the floor, not on a riser

all we could see of her were her KNEES
seriously!
she was completely hidden from the knees up by the piano
