Homeward Bound

speaking of Walmart I do need to go shopping --- I hate shopping in the rain though...........I live in such a bad area for my needs -- hate cold, snow & (cold) rain..............I need to move to Arizona! 'cept I don't like creepy, crawly things either

Seems like needy child will be moving in here............

although the more time he spends here the more he is adjusting to our rules...........except for last night..........caught him in the play house (think big wooden play area w/ swings, slide) w/ the scooter ready to ride down the slide! Yeah-- DH yelled at the neighbor kid I'm thinking he won't be trying that little trick again.

DH learned that our homeowners is not taking the dog bite claim
it is not like auto insurance, I guess
the dog was not on OUR property when it bit
and DD10 is not a listed "owner" of the homeowners policy

DH thought our homeowners would charge their homeowners insurance,
now we must bill them (the neighbors) ourselves

DH no longer even wants to SPEAK to the neighbors
who, by the way, have not even called to check on DD10

I thought that is how it would have worked as well...........

As far as medical bills go -- your major medical will cover (aside from co-pays) everything.

That is awful they have not called to check on her.............

I read an interview w/ S. Rhimes-- she is saying nobody's contracts have been renewed-- so I think it is up in the air w/ George & Izzy.

I'm wondering w/ George if a different actor will play him if TR does want out

In the interview Rhimes said George being absent a lot this season was by design -- so we wouldn't notice him missing most of the show on Thursday.

I could never go to Wal Mart and not spend money.

Well I'm back. But when we were at checkout the employee said it looked dark outside. So I went and checked and indeed it was. When we are leaving the store to go back to the car it starts to rain. The car was quite a ways from the store. So when we got to the car we were all drenched.

It's at a local part...I would be incharge of crafts and activities...I also applied to Target and JC Penny's...we'll see what happens...

Thanks Kimmy...part of me doesn't want to get it because it has strange hours and you aren't aloud time off...and I will need 2 days for college orientation. I don't want to find anything too permanent though since I'm leaving in August.

Just checkin in
I washed all the pool toys and threw away those that didn't winter well,
while watching the girls swim. I got the "new" stuff out of the attic (bought on clearance last year) and blew up a shark, inner tube things, and I have two king cool loungers to blow up....

The girls and I went to Walmart, too. DD10 needed a birthday gift for the sleepover she is going to tonight, and she spent her gift card on a pottery wheel, which she has been wanting forever. (I foresee disappointment coming)

DD13 bought hamster stuff, a playpen type thing, another wheel for him (her money)

now we have wrapped the BD gifts
and DD10 is itching to pottery wheel.....
four D batteries needed
noticed that once we were home
but I actually HAD them!

DS's team mercied the other
meaning scored ten runs over them by the third inning
they kept playing so the whole team could get playing time
there are 15 kids on the team (down from 18)
but only nine play the field at any given time...

DS got in (we figured he would be doing some benchwarming his first year)
and got to bat
but foul tipped then struck out
he isn't too sad
since the team played so well
