My afterproms were all night affairs at the YMCA,
you could swim, dance, trampoline, basketball, volleyball, etc
food all night, and then
breakfast served
then you went home

They do a similar all night after event in my school district
no ymca
but rent out a local banquet hall for dancing and games all night
now it is a lock in, you have to stay the whole time
for safety reasons

boy who went or not to the prom yesterday

This week my class has an
Author's Tea
on wednesday, for books they wrote in library skills
dress up, presentations
cookies and punch (no tea, go figure!)

and on Friday we go to a county wide
Reading Festival
all day long at a neighboring district

the following week, our field trip

I am thinking I should fix a light supper here at home tonight..
ah , the pressure!

I am going to make tuna burgers, fresh corn on the cob (on the way home from the park, we passed a farmer's market that we didn't even know existed) and either rice or pasta. I also have some veggie soup left over from late last week, so if anyone wants that too, it is available for them. I'll cook some chocolate pudding for dessert.

Happy Mother's Day to all my Random Moms! Thanks, I will tell her!

I am at the airport... I seriously had a fantastic trip! We did so many new things and still took tons of time to "smell the roses" We booked a random bounceback to WL for a great deal Aug 26-31 might as well make the most of the APs.
I missed talking with u all and can't wait to catch up with u all!

You are going to miss was40 and I by a week or so. Pad I think she is going a week later, so you might see her.

Lol I just checked Cleveland weather and it's currently 53! I am thinking my tee and crop pants may not cut it!

I am so excited to have my next two trips booked (and pretty much paid for) when I am leaving! Makes it so much easier to leave.

I bought some impatients and petunias
hot pink and white

and planted them in my two tier planter that sits on the deck

I had some white petunias left over
so I planted just them in a planter, too.

Then I did a bit of weeding
and now my back hurts! Go figure!
I used to be able to do many more jobs than that
and never feel an ache........

DD's are out playing with neighbors
I still have two more mom's day presents from DD10

she has loved the gift giving as much as getting presents herself!

me: 89!
DH: Seriously? That is a quarter of a year! That is a long time.


yep, but it is not like we aren't going to be insanely busy until then
ball, camps for kids, summer activiites, swimming, DS's summer job
we scarecly have time to blink in June
but it is good, keep the kids active and happy

Lasagna is always a favorite over here-either with cheese or veggies and cheese.
Everything is ready but DH and DS are involved in some project so we won't be eating for at least another 1/2 hour.
