DD started work a bit later this morning, so I drove her and then did some shopping. The supermarket was very quiet for a Sunday morning. What a pleasure!!

It's 71 humid degrees this morning and there is some sun peeking through those clouds.
We're expecting storms in the afternoon. But, it should be a nice day tomorrow.

I had a terrible time falling asleep last night/this morning.

At midnight, I put on a movie called No Reservations. I enjoyed it. Was over at 1:40, I went to bed at 2 and woke up at 5.

Can't wait to see how the day goes today!

Oh Sarah! I hope you can sneak in a little nap (I will forego the no naps unless it is ME taking them rule for you, since you obviously did not get near enough sleep last night!

I enjoyed all the news, thank you Sarah! I may not get to any news today with family swarming (in like the bees at Gamestop). It is the lull before the storm right now, enjoying my tea and a piece of friendship bread.

Have any of you used the new google phonebook?
I love it!
I used it yesterday for the DMV and today for a nearby DQ since the ice cream shop didn't have any more big cakes....long story.

You call google, tell the business name and city and it finds a number of solutions (for DMV, there was only one DQ) and then it will connect you (for free) or try again. It is great!

Hot Wing Dip

two chicken breasts, cooked, cooled and shredded
one bottle ranch dressing
one brick cream cheese
hot sauce (you won't need the whole bottle, believe me!)


Mix it all together , put in an oven safe dish
bake at 350 for 30 min.
Serve with tortilla chips.

Super delicious!

and I am going to let Big Bird cook it for me...

I picked up the DQ cake
it is perfect, has one of those edible images (happy birthday) on it
usually they charge more for that, too, but they didn't!

the gal wrote the boys names (we celebrate my nephew's BD which is also in May) in red, blue and yellow bubble letters, very nice!
